In the past, that failed and I had to use an on-chain transaction to get set up.
But today it worked!
Thing is, I’m still not sure if the “largest” payment I can accept, before a new channel gets opened, is (in this example) 500K or 1M sats..?
I’m assuming that you can’t “split” an incoming payment between two channels to increase capacity, and that 500K is the per-transaction limit with existing channels. But honestly not sure…
If I have two channels in Phoenix wallet, with 500K sats of liquidity in each, is the largest Lightning payment I can receive [just under] 1M sats? Or is it more like 500K?
I’ll try it
What do you think will be the most surprising /exciting development, evolution, or use case for Nostr, one year from today?
If you live in anything larger than a studio apartment, it’s worth it.
Every now and then, I get really intensely focused on whatever I’m working on.
Then I stop for a second and remember that Bitcoin exists, and I think “wow, that’s really fucking cool.”

Hehe. A well-balanced balance

A belated good morning to you all
Woke up with an inexplicably dead phone, wouldn’t restart - turns out it needs a new battery.
That moment of “did I back up all my Bitcoin wallets!?” always serves as a good reminder of careful key management 🤞
Goodnight frens
Sorry I couldn’t join what must have been a hilarious nest (or attempted nest?)
Crazy work this week/month(?)
Love you all 💜⚡️🫂
You gotta do these on nights I’m not at work late 😞🫂
I would expect nothing less
Although perhaps it makes it easier to sneak some ⚡️ shots without being seen
Missed this hilarity but it sounds like you ran the show
