Designer that codes. Also #WordStudy #Dadstr #Farmstr

Wow that's great to hear! Let me know if you need further help/specifications. I might have been a bit fast in certain aspects ,๐Ÿ˜‰

nostr:npub149p5act9a5qm9p47elp8w8h3wpwn2d7s2xecw2ygnrxqp4wgsklq9g722q I always appreciate how you communicate your ideas through prototypes ๐Ÿ‘ keep up the great work!

Thanks man! I have some feedback + proposal(s) for Stemstr on my list for next week btw, if you don't mind. (hopefully will find the time ๐Ÿ˜Š)

Yep I understand. All this data is out there and very easily fetched though, tracking when a user starts liking, zapping etc... Hard to stop anyone from coupling a service on that ๐Ÿ˜‰.

Long tap for Scheduled posting on mobile. Good idea? #nostrdesign nostr:note1fxdslhgtx8y3734ngmjjck05mqnfllk3xrp3x3a6n5zknhlqsgmq84jqz5

Yop, been thinking about that as well ๐Ÿ˜œ. Freakin' hard one to solve since DVM's go so broad in their applications. Like nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z says they could be any online (and some offline) services on Nostr.

1. So depending on the application you can call it sth else (AI, Bot, Magic, Algorythm, Service, ...)

2. Data Vending Machine, apart from being too long, is a good and clear name. SO maybe just use it and accompany it with icons appropriate to their use.

Open in New Tab is needed indeed!

He was talking more about how a generalised "Followoing" feed becomes more and more general and raises the barrier to post for most. A barrier they don't have in chat groups around topics, types of people, locations, events, ....

Non-dense UI's make me angry and frustrated btw, so luckily we can all find the apps that bring out our best ๐Ÿ˜‰

Started rethinking Highlighter from a Mobile-first perspective.

This top menubar alone represents a lot of what's possible and needs to be puzzled together. #nostrdesign nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft

A few days ago I had lunch with nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc and he told me about this awesome idea:

> A relay that rejects long notes.

This morning I woke up thinking about it.

And now it's live.

wss://140.f7z.io

140-character limit. With a pretty strict moderation, so spam should be basically non-existent.

It's also sucking short notes from other relays, so it's global should be pretty useful.

Check it out!

PS: No coincides; I saw this nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 note just now ๐Ÿ˜‚

@note10nvzcqzst4c5yee279u2j5qpzzkffhwxn5qf5t7jxqfx53h6agdqte34ay

Does that include tagged npub's etc? If not, you cross that limit very very easily ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the advice from nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z at the end of this episode: https://www.fountain.fm/episode/DEJd9bSDxKchnAQTLmKF

TLDR: Try a chat interface instead of a feed for your new app idea.

"I'm seeing the limitations of a Twitter-like UI and how toxic it is ...... I think a chat interface is much more welcoming to the majority of users, it enables those persons to say more and use it in a better way"

"Twitter clones generalize our feed so much ...... we will either have topics per feed or something like a chat interface where things are a lot more conversational"

"Kind 1's are not the preferred kind for Nostr"

1. Productivity tools might be a good match for this approach (think slack on nostr, vendata, nostrocket, ...)

nostr:nevent1qqsq73fc0z838h6lu4g029e2l88gcw7yew05r9xrt3vea2kdum6ycmspz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqzrthwden5te0dehhxtnvdakqvkxq6r

2. Highlighter could probably benefit as well from a more conversation focused UI around the insights from your peers.

Better start drawing things out! ๐Ÿ’ก #nostrdesign

I first had a filter button on top indeed. But then the buttons get real small. I'm going to try your suggestions too and see, thanks again.
