I suppose it is because bitcoin has a thing called the network effect that increases asymmetrically the value of bitcoin if there are more participants of the bitcoin network. If bitcoins becomes the standard in 20 years , people will have to use bitcoin just by common sense. The more people in the world, the more participants in the network, the asymmetrically higher the value of Bitcoin
People have their own beliefs. Being a jerk with others just because their beliefs is a generally negative trait, doesn't matter if it is about biology or not

I don't think bitcoin can fix things. I think bitcoin can only bring to life things that can't be easily broken so we don't need to waste time trying to repair them again and again. This is achieved through the division of labor of society
