What's the opposite of an influencer? I want to be that.

First you dive down rabbit holes and start figuring things out. Ah -- the money is just IOUs from a bank. Ah — the government is stealing surreptitiously via inflation. I’ve got this figured out.

The climate change scam is like the guru in from the 1980s who got people to donate all their money and bought 18 Rolls Royces with it. Instead of getting spiritual enlightenment for foregoing your wealth, you get status-signaling and fake virtue.

I’ve got it figured out. I know what’s going on.

But then you read about the electromagnetic pole shift and maybe climate change is real, only it maybe much worse and has nothing to do with human activity, and you wonder.

And then you start looking into history and whose agenda it serves to have occurred the way it’s purported, and you wonder more. From allegedly suppressed scientific developments to archeological digs, to UFOs, and you realize the only thing you know for sure is the story you’ve been given doesn’t account for the observed facts.

At this point, I’m open to just about *anything* that can account for what we see with any semblance of coherence.

Having a meme I edited and posted stolen and posted by someone who doesn't follow me is an amazing feeling.

It means a stranger I have never met or interacted with sees what I see. Incredible.

Most of the memes I post are stolen as well. I wonder if the ones who created them would feel the same way if they ever see my posts.

I think my favorite part of nostr is that after the last 10 years of being a loner weirdo on the outside of every group (after I was kicked out of my religion 10 years ago). I get to see people from so many different groups interacting with each other in a non harmful way.

Perhaps that's because there are other loners here as well, or maybe it's just a place people can speak their mind without censorship or ostracisation, but I get why those who are in their own echo chamber don't gravitate toward it, and those on the outside of any one group who can weave through multiple groups enjoy it.

When the location has been found, they vote on it by dancing as a collective until a consensus is reached.

A human rights activist or political dissident can be de-platformed off of centralized corporate tech platforms at the hands of the state or corporation, that’s where Nostr comes in. It’s hard to be heard and create change when you have nowhere to speak.

Both are useful human rights tools.

Never feel obligated to *prescribe* how society will function on an anarchic, Bitcoin standard. To attempt to do so is impossible, see Mises’ economic calculation problem.

You’re free to attempt to *describe* what it might look like (and I encourage those thought exercises), but never feel obligated to do so in order to counter someone who thinks anarcho-capitalism can’t work. You’ll be met with infinite goalposts. In the end, our descriptions won’t centrally plan the future society anyway. That’s what markets are for.

Instead, merely ask them what happens to the State, or for that matter any entity, when it can no longer explicitly or implicitly steal anymore. That should be sufficient to end the discussion.
