The state and elites spend a lot of time and effort into making sure people don't wake up and start asking questions. You don't have to wear a tin foil hat to realise that this isn't in our best long term interests. Society is going to get rug pulled very soon...

Left to our own devices, humans are very creative about overcoming difficulties. Unfortunately we have governments who realise that they only stay in power by making their people believe that they are the only solution to problems and crises so they make more problems and crises to ensure they keep their position. On a national level, we could cope with this and just relocate when it happens to our nation, unfortunately, the global power masters are pushing for a single world government under their control and the only way they will get that is by making problems big enough that people cry out for a global solution. Expect the next decade or so to be brutal as their long term plans come to fruition. Resist the Great Reset.
Yes, the amount of farm land that is being repurposed for other uses other than food production is meaning that the amount of food production available is reducing, fine for now but one bad global harvest and we are heading into really bad territory. This isn't an isolated issue...

A few years ago they "predicted" that by 2030 we would own nothing, have no privacy and be eating ze bugz. We still have 5 years before that date but it is obvious that a lot of that stuff is already happening...
Your argument implies that money is the only wealth and that such a reset would start everyone off equal, unfortunately, most of the wealth on this planet is in the form of land and property... Those that have wealth have rigged the system of laws and institutions to stay on top through any reset. Even in the earliest days of Bitcoin, those who could afford better computers could mine the most coins. Centralisation always happens when money concentrates. And Bitcoin maximalisation is a form of concentration. We might have had a head start, but those who have been pushing the "Number go up" have just managed to attract the attention of those who can outbid us constantly!
Most people don't yet know that they need a properly uncensored internet or social media. Most of them still trust the traditional media and everything those in authority tell them... When they do, we will be here but Nostr needs to be built out a bit more first.
