This is very true. I will certainly think twice the next time I'm in this situation.

My kids had friends over this weekend and we had a movie night with lots of snacks. They tried to be thoughtful and bought me candy. I resisted until today when I ate the candy. It hasn't even been an hour and I regret every last piece...

I used to have a pair of vibrams but I wore them out. I think I'll end up with another pair of those.

He's only half right though. The repetitive injuries in military folk typically only come with bad form. In the military, physical training is often poorly managed by sergeants that have absolutely to background in physical training and put more emphasis on doing more than doing it right.

I wear Crocs at the gym currently, if I'm wearing shoes.

My goal with that is to:

- avoid ankle support in favor of letting this muscles and tendons develop.

- provide a wide open platform to allow my feet to sprawl naturally

- avoid arch support to allow my natural arch to do it's job

I'm assuming that my problem is that I'm getting an inverse effect of arch support and that's throwing my posture off.

At the gym this morning doing squats, I was having some back pain. I attributed it to bad form with my deadlifts this week and went light. When I changed exercises, I took my shoes off and my back pain disappeared immediately!

I've been intermittently going barefoot this winter when I can stand it with the cold, but I am now looking to take a much more aggressive approach. It's crazy to me how much of a difference I didn't realize it was making.

Gotcha. I do use obtanium, but I believe I'm grabbing the droid version. Looks like I'll have to swap. Thanks!

Does #amethyst translate? I thought it did, but my notes say otherwise.

I just might have to try it. You said 2 eggs, but what's the count for kiwi and orange?

You may have lost me at eggs 😅 that's awesome though! I love to see that kind of innovation. How does it taste though? I imagine the fruit mask the egg taste pretty well.

Unless it's puree chicken breast, I'm guessing it's not natural 🤣

Open source will always be more efficient than proprietary. Open source inherently adds a layer of accountability that proprietary intentionally removes.

The tradeoff is convenience vs security. Take control of your life and accountability for your actions. Start sacrificing some of your convenience to practice better security. I promise you won't regret it.

Lobrewolf is a hardened fork of Firefox, which just means it's already configured for security.

So your drawbacks vs chrome are any perceived drawbacks of Firefox vs chrome, which tends to be that some websites choose only to optimize for chrome so some of their features just don't work properly on Firefox variants.

Drawbacks vs standard Firefox (assuming no hardening) are simply sacrificing convenience for security. You'll find that some pages break because they're unable to perform careless behaviors such as cross site requests or feeding you potentially harmful cookies.

There's nothing that Librewolf does that you cannot do with Firefox. Librewolf just does it for you out of the box.
