It's pretty obviously just a rendering based on telemetry data, but I feel you. When I watched this the first time I laughed...
Is anyone else getting some weird vibes from this whole Oliver Anthony thing? He's clearly a good musician, and he comes off as very sincere when he speaks, but there are some red flags that just don't sit right with me.
All his previous videos were shot on his phone, then all of a sudden he's got a professional-grade film set up. This could just be him trying to make a real go of it, but it feels a little too polished.
Same thing with the audio quality. Previous videos were mediocre at best, then these recent videos come out with sound that has clearly been through a real sound studio.
Lastly, he is somehow the first person in history to debut a song at #1 on the Billboard Top 100 without ever having had a song at any position on that list? #1 on iTunes? It's nice to think that could be real organic response, and maybe I'm just jaded at this point but to me it reads more like astroturf or even psyop.
Anyone have anything to assurance my concerns here? I'd love to hear it.
