get it again maybe ... these apps host/serve this source code from github.com but we can "trust" it through our follow list (so to speak)
got it ... maybe ...
would the nostr app host it's own version of bitcoin core? how does that handle the remote origin of the original repo still being github.com? or does it serve the latest code from that remote origin?
truly fascinating .... this is the revolution (one app at a time) that we're all here for :-)
Thanks ... need to look into web of trust terminology ... what does downloading bitcoin-core do if you're only supplying a Nostr public key?
Can you explain further what's going on here, please?
1 . install bictoin-core
2. enter your npub
.. what does this do / what are the reasons you'd you give your npub?
Thanks :-)
People used to go shopping in fucking suits. I can count on both hands the number of times I’ve worn a suit in my life. This is what they did to our money.

People went fishing in suits too!
Bar the SIM concerns (all corners you raised are valid FYI) ... could this be a multi-sig problem? i.e. why would you only make one Nostr private key for all these N solutions .. why not N private keys?

Is there a way yet to have LinkedIn functionality? i.e. making profiles that are a `company` and/or `people`/`employee` that are associated with a `company`?
A powerful API to scrape companies/employee using something like https://nostr.band/ would be amazing. Easy assumption to make here would be that a given `company`/`employee` is operating on a #bitcoin standard.
Happy to help develop this solution if it doesn't exist yet

Not familiar with London so no help there.
Parker talks about how he thinks there is a wave of merchant adoption coming from existing Bitcoiner’s who will start to request payment in their businesses in Bitcoin. It’s an interesting thesis and I remember that’s exactly what led me to start requesting payment in Bitcoin.
I believe it is in this talk: https://youtu.be/iyGGMU1_PIY?si=wSFTcWEFd6pScfia
Great! Thanks for that link, just finished watching -- aggree with the thesis 100%.
Become self employed on bitcoin standard recently so definitely see the game theory angle being played out. Not to mention (1) the ease of accounting with a transparent ledger (2) not needing a bank to accept payments!
Actually, por que no los todos?

Just be nice if more than ~2 physical places around me accepted ⚡
Long term, yes. But at the moment one's limited on places to use it as a medium of exchange:
