WTF?!, please BTC fan (like I am) explain to me how pro crypto people who advocate freedom can also support dictatorships or crazy people like that. Is it a lack of education? Understand these (completely opposite) concepts? Do you know your history?
I'm a proud bitcoiner and I believe in Bitcoin, but here's why I think Bitcoin is a serious and dangerous issue:
When you look on social networks like X or Lens, you realize that a large portion of bitcoiners and bitcoin influencers are completely disconnected from reality.
They advocate for anarchy and are against the state and governments, but they clearly seem unaware of what a world without state or government would entail.
I see more and more anti-vaccine, flat earth , and climate change denial rhetoric dangerously gaining ground. Some critics of the dictatorship in Western states even go as far as valorizing and defending Putin, China, Trump, and other crazy dictators. You really have to be uneducated, unaware of reality, and misinformed to see dictatorships or potential dictatorships as dreams of freedom. Have we already forgotten Hitler, Pinochet, Stalin, and others?
Clearly, we're talking about people stuck in their echo chambers, trying to convince themselves, alternating between being convinced and refusing any other external ideas, especially any scientifically proven or explained facts. Spoiler alert: economics is also a science.
In summary, a significant portion of pro-bitcoin and pro-crypto individuals seem clearly closed-minded, unaware of reality, indoctrinated by their own dogma, and closed off to any other external ideas or thoughts. They are therefore similar to our central bank directors. They just don't believe in the same dogma but are equally problematic and dangerous. The world is not black or white, nor even gray; it is made up of multiple colors. And if you are convinced that the whole world should be red, you are as, if not more, problematic than what you criticize and fight against.
It's understandable to feel conflicted about being pro-bitcoin and defending the ideals it proposes, especially when history has shown us that the best of technologies, in the wrong hands, can become destructive. Atomic fission was not meant to be a weapon, the internet was not meant to fuel misinformation and radicalization, and bitcoin was not meant to promote ignorance.
😂😂 C’est tellement ça 🤦♂️
For our Anglo-Saxon friends who know only one language:
- The efforts of many scientists.
- One of the greatest technological challenges.
- All of this to provide internet access...
- ... to Billy
« the Earth is flat! »
This can also apply to Web3, which will allow all the retarded and conspiracy theorists to say anything and everything. 🤦♂️
Threads!?! Over my dead body 😂
This is what happens when GAFA think they are superior to the States 😒. They want money from pub, but don't want to pay to use contents. There is clearly an abuse of dominant position. Long live decentralized social networks. It now remains to democratize them and make them easy to use for ordinary mortals.
So true 😂
‘’Can I a squat to your home? I can sleep on the couch.’’
😂
Damn!!! 🤦♂️ I would have preferred to don’t understand it 😒😂
😂😂😂 As usual 😉

It’s just one exemple, but follow this guy and you will see what I mean.
@BTC_Archive / @RadarHits
Many good content from this guy, it's not always bad or biased, but clearly he doesn’t always see very clearly and many of his followers even less.

I understand that we oppose the banking and capitalist system currently in place in the West, I understand that we criticize our governments who take decisions often in opposition to our own values. I even understand that we question the current world order and dynamics.
But I can't understand how, for that, we can end up defending what is even more opposed to our values, what is even more the opposite of what we are looking for, what we want and what we believe.
Western world are still far from this ideal, from OUR ideal, but much closer than Russia or China can be. To hope to achieve this ideal, we must criticize the current order and push it to change, but, it’s also more than necessary to fight the threat of autocratic states.
Please, can someone explain to me:
Fundamentally, we believe in Bitcoin and/or crypto because we seeking financial freedom, the right to be able to choose, to be sovereign of our assets, of what belongs to us. we firmly believe in all this.
So, why and how several crypto enthusiasts and bitcoiners are also defenders of the autocratics and dictatorships states and system that violates all freedoms and sovereignty like Russia or China?
By definition, China is communist prevents any sovereignty and right of possession. And clearly, the free will and freedom is not recognized in Russia, no more than in China.
I really don't understand the reasoning of this king of bitcoiners and crypto believer or how they can come to this minding. Except for a blatantly lack of education, knowledge and thinking skills of course.
