TWITTER HACK UPDATE

After a week of trying to address my Twitter hack, I just woke up to find it’s happening again. I’m locked out of my account, no access, scam tweets on my profile.

I have tried EVERYTHING to get my account back to normal:

- Yubikey

- Changing password 10 times

- Changing email on account

- Remove 3rd party apps

- Remove developer apps

NOTHING IS WORKING

I keep asking for help and getting nothing. I put a lot of time into my account. After 10 years of work in this industry Twitter is what allowed me to be recognized.

It’s the only reason people care about my work and now it’s being stolen and it’s honestly so fucking embarrassing and painful.

I know many people will laugh. They feel like I deserve it for running an engagement account.

Anyway, I am asking for help. I honestly have no idea what to do

Not that easy. Though this Damus app is pretty good. I don’t know what I was using before but it was bad

I was told to cut back on my relays. I originally had like 15. What’s the right way?

I have Phoenix. Is that ok?

How would I do that

Honestly the most annoying thing is the lag and constant loading between actions…

Look I’ll be honest. I’ve been a HUGE Nostr hater.

I honestly can’t fucking use this damn app and it makes me feel like an idiot. I have NO IDEA why you guys like it

I follow people that I never end up following, I write messages I can’t see, and the only advice I get is to do a bunch of random technical hoo-ha

But yesterdays Twitter hack was a BIG wake-up call. I got almost no help from centralized Twitter

So I’m going to commit to spending 30 minutes a day to try to figure Nostr out, okay? 🤝
