Data Science Enthusiast You'll mostly find me coding in python, building small data focused web apps. I read fiction and I'd love a conversation centred around Politics and society.

I feel twitter as social media has saturated. I am looking for a fresh start and new perspective to how people engage with each other.

Doesn't add up in case of Twitter. Twitter saw a huge downfall after Elon Musk took over. It's been criticised for being biased and also has allegations of curbing free speech.

Twitter alternatives like Mastodon or for that matter even Nostr saw a spike in user base due to the aforementioned reasons.

Is this really success as you suggest?

From what it seems, everybody is trying to create a Twitter alternative. Is Twitter really looking at its downfall?

Hashtags I guess. My notes which had a good interaction had hashtags.

What are some books you read which had a great tv or film adaptation?

I don't think so people consider "5G" better just because it's a larger number. 5G or 4G or 3G for that matter was marketed as "having faster speed" and "better connectivity" - this is what I believe common people understand, you are giving them a sense that something will be faster or better.

Incase of decentralisation technology, it's not marketed like this. You are not giving people a sense that their privacy will be better or they'll have better mediums to express themselves. Personally speaking, whenever I come across any website of decentralised platforms - it's mostly code code and code, networks networks and networks. Furthermore, people who've somewhat a good knowledge of technology, they also struggle to get started on decentralised apps and platforms.

Decentralisation is largely an echo chamber of developers and technology enthusiasts. I believe more effort should be given to educate common masses and make decentralisation technology more accessible and easier.

corporate shit posting

Nostr/Mastodon or any decentralised platforms will never appeal to people because people don't understand them.

Pick a person randomly, they'd know more about 5G technology and will have enough knowledge about it to switch from 4G to 5G.

But decentralised technology nobody knows about. Mass awareness about decentralisation is lacking.

Um, what I'm trying to learn is that suppose your client is a big bank or a hospital. Are ML algos implemented in the same way as we do on our local machines? split, fit, predict

or is there something more.

I'm trying to get into data science that's why I want to learn more of real world scenarios.

i think i deserve a good friend πŸ€”

Machine Learning engineers and #Data Scientists of #Nostr who are working for real clients,I am wondering how differently do you apply machine Learning algorithms?

Like, I recently studied Logistic regression which involved pretty straightforward approach

Fit

Is it pretty straightforward while working with big real life projects?

every social media website which is new teaches us a very important thing - life is good with people around.

around couple of days ago, I was new to Nostr and barely got noticed. Now I've followed some people and received couple of follow backs, I feel this place a bit more active.

Followed you back. Looking forward to wonderful conversations!

Guys. Suggest some data science, machine learning folks to follow here.
