I’m waiting to see exactly how many people have to be homeless and destitute before someone organizes them into a formidable revolutionary force. History teaches us that the elite elements of society are the only ones who initiate change by utilizing the indigent masses in revolution, and only when they themselves are experiencing economic discomfort. What sparked the revolutionary war in he US? Not the poor, but the wealthy landowners. The poor just suffer if they’re lucky, suffer and die when they’re unlucky.

Increasingly no jobs that support a decent lifestyle here in the US. Pay and expenses need to be relevant to each other, they haven’t been for a while, hours worked have made up the differences until recently.

“The pursuit of an easier life resulted in much hardship, and not for the last time. It happens to us today. How many young college graduates have taken demanding jobs in high-powered firms, vowing that they will work hard to earn money that will enable them to retire and pursue their real interests when they are thirty-five? But by the time they reach that age, they have large mortgages, children to school, houses in the suburbs that necessitate at least two cars per family, and a sense that life is not worth living without really good wine and expensive holidays abroad. What are they supposed to do, go back to digging up roots? No, they double their efforts and keep slaving away.”

Sapiens and Homo Deus

I raise cows, there are many cuts on cows that are difficult to cook. It’s unfortunate there are so few really great cuts on each animal. This fact alone keeps me shopping for commercially raised beef, because I really just want to eat the best parts of each animal. There is room for innovation in this space.

That is to say Russia will not lose this conflict. We need a Kennedy in US leadership. He understands the legacy and can broker peace.

The way I understand it NATO is dishonoring a treaty inked at the fall of the iron curtain. They will not lose this conflict, and their actions are reasonable.

Yep, I’m still drinking black coffee.

I think while gold and silver are decent securities, they are prone to volatility, and completely dysfunctional as currency. I pay for institutional money management because our financial system is corrupt and only the biggest players can navigate those treacherous waters. Granted they give their investors a pittance, and only what they must to avoid unrest and revolt; Bitcoin is the weapon of the people against the tyranny of Blackrock. One must be mindful that currently Blackrock essentially creates the world we interact with financially. As much as I would like to see a purely agorist financial system based on P2P, the establishment will not be marginalized without a struggle, and it holds vast control over people. Bitcoin may rise like a Phoenix eventually, but only from the ashes of our immolated current system. The baby step down the path is, get your transactions off of the ledgers, take your fiat out of the banks.

I don’t disagree with supporting Bitcoin, I stack sats like everyone else, however I think diversification is also important, and until the majority of the economy itself shifts to Bitcoin, there will be a place for substantial fiat holdings. Cash is still relevant, investments are still relevant, if you want to ghost something, leave banks and credit cards behind.

At this stage in my life I like the dividend ETF options. What do you advocate in place of these investment vehicles?

Yes and the sea floor is calcium rich to be sure, but if the shells and calciferous structures in living organisms are compromised on a large scale this could mean some rapid and destabilizing change for every organism on the planet. The earth is dynamic and won’t maintain anything forever, but we as a species need to make sure we have options for our long term survival.
