It’s cool, I like you and even if I didn’t, I would admit I can be an arrogant pedantic prick at times. I do think questioning faith and studying anthropology is important though.
Ok, let’s zoom way out for a moment. God is all knowing, all powerful and the creator of humanity and everything else. We are “children” of god, created in his image and he loves us. Adam gets lonely hanging with his Dad in the garden so god half asses a companion, meanwhile some angel named Lucifer is plotting against god, god knows it, and could stop it, but he thinks it might be fun to watch so he sits back and lets Eve make contrary mistakes which he then holds his children accountable for. Ever since, Lucifer prowls around making everyone suffer like a sadistic child molester in a kindergarten, while god sips margaritas on the shores of heaven. If, while you are suffering you kiss the contrived ring, Jesus, passionately enough, because god is too good to talk to any of us soiled creations now, as a result of his errant other creation, Lucifer, you might be admitted into the forever resort, heaven. Ridiculous mythology, and not even GOOD mythology. Meanwhile we have women pastors, transsexual pastors, homosexual pastors….none of which do I personally have any issue with whatsoever, but the holy book that they claim does not mince words about any of that being acceptable. It’s like a choose your own dogma and call it whatever you want circus. I was raised fundamentalist Christian. I had eight versions of the Bible and had read and cross referenced them by the time I was ten. My parents did not spare the rod, and died fearing god. I hope for their sake there is a heaven, because otherwise they lived miserable lives for no reason at all.
What is a church aside from an ideal collated community? The whole idea of a god is so, so flawed, and the codex Christendom clings to is antiquated mythology that the community itself can’t agree on. Have any of you really asked why having a god is so important to you, and why the “father” figure you choose is an uncaring sadomasochist? There is some heavy fear and childhood psychology to dig into here….
I really suspect that the effects of prayer are strikingly similar to the effects of meditation. As a formerly devout Christian person I can affirm that my assertion is absolutely correct in my case.
So likely the LED light pack was functional. Doing the diagnostic before throwing parts at the problem like a shade tree mechanic would is why you are paying for a certified mechanic. Aside from the cracked lens, my opinion is the diagnostic and LED light pack is at their expense. Be sure to keep the replaced LED and BCM, have them second party tested. If they are functional, offer them the opportunity to make the cost right before you sue them. How much labor did they charge for the tail light and lens replacements?
The primary root cause of oral decay is not sugar, it's acid-producing yeast in the mouth and gut which depletes saliva and corrodes the teeth and inflames the gums.
You don't need a dentist, you need to:
1. Disrespect the seed oils that turbo charge yeast: https://www.seedoilrebellion.com/education.
2. Dump the fluoride toothpaste that harms oral flora for the safer, more effective hydroxyapatite: https://betterbiom.com/collections/all-products/products/nobs-toothpaste-tablets-matcha-majesty
3. Clear out oral and gut yeast to allow for a healthy flora to take over (yeast is kind of like an opportunistic weed): https://mtcapra.com/product/candacleanse/ and https://mtcapra.com/product/caprasite/
4. Red light your gums to beat back surface-area yeast: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B7NBCP1G
5. UV sanitize your toothbrush and other bathroom tools: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0914VQ383
6. Migrate to an #animalbased based diet. Get loads of raw milk (most bioavailable calcium), sun (D hormone), eggs and cheese (K2) in order to always be building strong teeth: https://heartandsoil.co/the-ultimate-guide-to-the-animal-based-diet/.
Yeah, I think antimicrobial toothpastes and mouthwashes are a real mistake, but fluoride in toothpaste, unlike fluoride in drinking water has some real benefit. I have cavity free teeth as evidence in my sixth decade on this planet.
This is idea is perfect as it perhaps unwittingly accommodates familiarity as well. If a person knows you well enough to know your identity as a part of your immediate community, they will have no trouble identifying you on the platform, otherwise you are all acquaintances and should be treated as such. I might have misunderstood the concept, admittedly technology is not my strong suit. If I’m talking out of my rear, someone please let me know!
Interesting outlook. I have always preferred sandals, though I’ve worn work boots most of my life out of necessity. Recently I discovered Crocs and I think they are the best thing I’ve ever worn. They are as close to being barefoot as I can get. I “wash” my feet with soil daily. I never wash them in the classical sense, fun fact, within five minutes of skin contact with soil, the microbiome on your skin begins to change in ways specific to the soil. Touching earth is critical to the balance of microbial cultures, eating it too, though I am not yet one of those people. 😁
Sometimes, but many animals, humans among them are particularly strong smelling during adolescence, the whole sexual maturity advertising thing.
Neither smells good, teen feet being the worst.
It does take some getting used to, and the towels used to dry off will get dirty with body and coconut oils. Fun fact, body odor is primarily caused by aqueous dysbiosis of microbial balance in places made anaerobic by folds of skin with large numbers of glands that secrete body fluids. Soap perpetuates that cycle by removing the oil that occupies skin pores, oil microbes cannot live in, replaced with water based secretions that microbes can live in. The result is odor, so more products to fix a problem that wouldn’t exist without the soap interrupting the balance. Adolescence is a notable exception to the function of balance, teens stink for some evolutionary reasons…bring on the soap!
I’m older, so much less oil to go around, I wash my hair with coconut oil and rinse with hot water. Clean, soft, moisturized scalp. No real need for the saponification polar non polar link for me. I have always thought it funny that people use harsh alcohol based cleansers to remove the oil, just to condition it and put oil back. The solution to pollution is dilution. The oil in your hair is dirty, dilute the dirty oil with clean oil, voila! Clean hair.
How exactly does gun control make guns safe?
To each their own. I am an old man living in a world of exponentially increasing factors of instability. I have never been body searched in decades of high risk associations with law enforcement. Manage your own risks, for me, carrying is worth the potential consequence. Maybe for you, it isn’t. C’est la vie, mate!
I don’t either, but really? You would ask the authorities for permission? It’s another threshold for use of your firearm. I risk a felony every day. Stupid? Worth it. The hoops to legality will continue to be increasingly out of reach.
I would rather everyone have a .22Lr pistol confidently carried than something dangerous, unsafely and unmanageably carried.
Solid. I’d be happy to share a public forum with a person like you, however I do think there are many who are misguided and pose a threat to themselves and others with good intentions and bad practices.
