Today I remembered, the future is already here.
It is easy to get caught up in the melodrama of the moment yet this is not helpful.
What is helpful is building and educating.
I’m choosing to stay out of the drama and keep a firm focus on to task at hand… embracing life and doing the work.
When the student is ready the teacher will appear. My teacher today appeared in the form of a book called “The Surrender Experiment”. It was a timely reminder of what flows when we get out of our own way, and choose to embrace life.
Zap-able. As in, “hey dude that analysis/post/meme was so good, it is totally Zap-able.”
Me, I’m awesome! 🤣
Wowwee! And they’re worried about Bitcoin mining being bad for the planet!
But sure, why not, we’ll destroy the planet not by providing the most super sound, non corruptible money humanity has ever seen but by instead, sending rich jackasses into space for joyrides.

My biggest concern is adoption for this reason. ☝️
People are by nature inclined to take the path of least resistance… it feels like we are a long way off Bitcoin being the path of least resistance in the West.
Is there a resource where I can find concise soundbite responses to the most common BTC FUD questions coming from Normies?
Like “isn’t BTC being used to evade Russian sanctions?”
Or “BTC is a Ponzi”
I know all the answers to the general FUD but by the time I’ve explained them in detail to normies, even I’m nodding off 😴
I enjoyed this adoption analysis. More comprehensive and thoughtful than most I’ve seen previously.
It’d be really great if you stopped giving crap airtime in here. It’s like a bloody advertisement. Let’s just focus on Nostr and build in Nostr.
A big thank you to Anon for the zap.
Why? It’s the only day you don’t have to sort out fake news from real news. You can simply assume it’s all fake. It’s the one day of the year my critical thinking gets a rest 😁
Laz posted the charter suggestion last week. I’m trying to work out how to repost and tag you but I’m not having much luck.
Thanks, I’m such a noob I’ve only just worked out where to find replies to conversations. I guessed Beechworth and Cairns would be similar distance but yes, very time consuming and if travelling alone likely a similar cost in petrol to flights.
Did you find the social charter post? I’ll see if I can find it. It’s definitely worth some thought as a community. I’m currently reading the sovereign individual and if it’s forecast about moving to sovereign communities vs nation states, it’s worth some effort now to envision what the charter for a Bitcoin community would look like.
Agreed, I’m grew up on a cattle station, so I love a good steak. It’s just when in Thailand and steak is hard to come by mud crab is a bloody good alternative particularly at $10AUD a crab.
They have cheap mud crab! The beef of the sea.
Much Gratitude to you Jeff, your continued signal in a world gone mad is a stabilising force in itself. Keep building the bridge, you are a master craftsman.
It feels like the quickening but I sure hope/May pray you are right and I am wrong.
