Very sad, YouTube won’t let me view in my country but I’ll see if I can find it on catchup

It’s a plan for an upcoming bush bush bash. I’m working with Dale to set it up. It will be open to the Brissy crew.

A tiny part of the butchering process

There is something incredibly satisfying about cooking and eating the beef that you’ve seen grazing on healthy grass pastures only a week ago and then been a part of the whole process, including skinning, gutting, butchering and mincing.

I’m so excited to eat this later this evening.

Excited for the upcoming Bush Bush Bash, date TBA, where thanks to nostr:npub13egd78gp4wuul705g4duqnt9mva36j7pyryzrxsrq2zzz9ljnf7sppc9fs we’ll get the opportunity to do this again.

Trying so hard to get this message across,

“Bitcoin is not about money, it’s about sending a message”

I like this yet I doubt the validity of the first ‘exponentially’. Maybe it should instead be being exponentially more productive (largely due to technology)

Genuine question, how do you define productive work vs rent seeking? I think I’ve got the basics but I’m curious about the more grey areas.

Productive work: non subsidised primary producers, non subsidised mining, high quality manufacturing, high quality construction, high quality creators.

Rent seeking: almost all government departments, definitely all those engaged in social welfare work, agents, middlemen, bankers, brokers, stock traders, gamblers, moochers, looters, second handers.

Please steer me in the right direction if any of the above is off track. Are there clear categories or is it simply grey in every area of work and distinguished only by intention and effort?

I’m based in an affluent country and whilst I feel tremendous empathy for those in Argentina and other parts of the world experiencing hyperinflation and/or oppression regimes. I’m finding it hard to muster up too much compassion for the 20yr olds in my country who are complaining about the lack of affordability of housing whilst simultaneously sporting the latest iphone, catching Ubers wherever they go and eating out every day…

I say all this typing on my hand me down iPhone 7. Not because I can’t afford a new iPhone but because I choose not to be frivolous with my money… even the trashy kind of money.

How so?

I would personally expect broken money has been a major precursor to the obscene extravagance and ostentatiousness of today’s weddings. Shallow and short-lived joy though it may be, there appears no lack of it.

Having said that, these are the weddings of the zombies and sheeple, those either unaware of the problem or complacent within it.

For the remnants/the unplugged, at least those that have found Bitcoin, there is hope and therefore there is joy.

Imagine having orators like that now… imagine politicians worthy of our respect… not something I have seen in my lifetime.

“I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
