I’m an enthusiast Bitcoin educator and for sometime I thought my future was in educating students about Bitcoin in schools … because children are the future.
However, as so often happens in life, things don’t always turn up as you expect them to.
So instead, I’m being regularly invited to present Bitcoin education to HNW retirees. This has been an interesting and rewarding turn of events.
And what I’ve discovered is this.
1. This audience actually have the life experience and financial backing to do something significant with the information I present them.
2. When I educate a HNW retiree, they are very often also parents and grandparents and thus the curiosity and enthusiasm I share with them for Bitcoin as an emergent, integrity based, global monetary protocol, doesn’t stop with them… I’m often effectively, network effect, Orange Pilling and entire family of 3 generations with each and every retiree.
It’s a very cool process to watch unfold and I feel completely blessed to have been pulled in this direction. 🙏
Poor thing, he’s aged like a corked red wine… so much potential but it didn’t quite work out.
Cool, how did you do this?
The cool part about it is, we are all free to listen, or not.
No inflation, only sticker graffiti. 😝
It sounds like a paedophile who’s contracted cryptosporidium… there no hope for that one. Best put them out of their misery.
🤣
Although, I heard if you recover, it can be quite positive in the long run as it often only causes ego death… and even though this may feel fatal at the time, it often turns out, it’s not.
My son wants to know if Cryptosporidium is the parasite you catch from touching shitcoins? 🤣
So true, in fact, this realisation lead me to write an article titled, “How Bitcoin taught me that I wasn’t smart and rich but instead, dumb and poor” 😂
Update:
We're up to 5 ducklings so far.

Gorgeous!
You were missed during this weekend’s BBBB. Not too many shenanigans this time although Isha was egging on TJ and I to do something mischievous 😂
After diving down the Bitcoin rabbit hole and re-emerging with a new paradigm it took me a while to be able to step back into my old paradigm and see things through my old eyes and through the eyes of my pre-Bitcoin friends and family who thought of Bitcoin as an investment similar to company shares.
When I did, I laughed out loud at how ridiculous I must look through their paradigm. Imagine if you told everyone you were going to travel locally, interstate or internationally to meet up with a bunch of strangers who, almost instantly, become some of your favourite people on the planet, to discuss BHP shares for hours/days on end and have the best time EVER doing it.
Once I had that moment of understanding it gave me the empathy and patience to explain to pre-Bitcoiners that Bitcoin is not an investment. Bitcoin is a base layer shift in the protocol of inter-human communication.
What is Bitcoin communicating? Value.

This Monologue of the Tramp from Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” is the best description of what socialism, in practice, does to a person’s soul, that I’ve ever come across.
Viktor Frankl touches on this in, “A Man’s Search for Meaning”.
In an abstract manner this same phenomenon is explained in Bruce Lipton’s “Biology of Belief” and again in Richard Dawkins, “The Selfish Gene”
My 2 cents is, it’s extremely rare to encounter “bad” people only bad incentives and bad environments/systems. Rand does a great job of not telling, but “showing” how this phenomenon can play out in a ‘real’ world context.
This is why Bitcoin. Bitcoin aligns human nature with the greater good by creating a level playing field, fixed rules, and extending time preferences from days/weeks/months to 4 year cycles/decades/generations and beyond.
Beware the narcissists you are following.
It likely depends upon WHY they have no passions and no clear way in life.
There are those that ‘share’ this planet with us that do not actually desire to live. These are the ones who try to claw down greatness, achievement, skill, joy for being alive.
If you look closely it is remarkable just how many zombies roam amongst us. If you can’t SEE them yet, find true joy, purpose, ability and then you will see them.
Others simply need a guiding hand. Giving them Bitcoin will do nothing for them. Teaching them about Bitcoin and showing them how to earn Bitcoin and be worthy of it, will. You will be simply shining a light on something they were already searching for, even if they didn’t yet know it.
Gorgeous! You look so much like your mom 💗 … I meet you in Brisbane Australia last year.
My favourite book on Bitcoin.
