Anyone that says they're pro-Bitcoin and supports Trump does not understand that working towards mining the rest of Bitcoin in any one single country would mean potential failure for #Bitcoin.

It most likely won't happen, but worth keeping in mind. Trump doesn't understand what he is saying. He's pulling the threads of would-be-patriots. Patriotism should be to your country and culture, not to money. That's what fiat got us. An uncompetitive hegemony.

The panel with their CEO and Russel Brand was incredibly hypocritical.

They said they "solved the infrastructure problem" - No, they didn't. They just knew where to host their stuff, for now. They're still centralised in many ways.

They say they're all about free speech - What's the point without being censorship resistant? They literally geo-block access.

They said they were open to any new technology that would make their mission more efficient but none existed - How disconnected do you have to be when Nostr is even a thing?

These companies stating their missions is freedom of speech while trying to get around the limitatioms of the current system, choosing to geo-block entire nations and close down communications lines beteeen citizens is treading the line without crossing it because they're not in it for the fight.

I'd like to give a shout out to Padawan Wallet.

Looking to teach Bitcoin usage to a newly orange-pilled individual?

From the elderly, to children.

It's a fully test-net wallet, fully safe environment to learn the basics with in-app UI-based tutorials.

"I think we've achieved access to Bitcoin for everyone as an on-ramp, you can get access in just a few minutes now. What we'd like is help from regulators to so that we can get access to the tools necessary for everyone to be able to buy Bitcoin" - Shitcoin General Manager @ Robinhood πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I may be wrong here, but didn't Michelle Weekley call out all Anons for being, well, anonymous, stating they should take their mask off?

Them changing to Openvibe is a sign they don't primarily believe in what Nostr stands for, how it differentiates from others and WHY it came to be in the first place- Unfortunate what that means. Incorporating every platform possible besides pushing conformity for centralization, risk of deplatforming and loss of freedom of speech, is like throwing shit and seeing what sticks.

Aggressive perhaps, I know, but it gets to me.

Seems like we're getting a bunch of new #nostriches coming our way after what X has done with the #Bitcoin emoji.

Get ready to onboard the younglings.

It's a good watch/listen.

Xapo Bank is the antihesis of Bitcoin.

Instead of putting energy into building better self-custodial solutionsand UX with emergency backups like Muun (local) or nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 (cloud) for Lightning have done, they're replicating traditional banks with #KYC AND you have to pay to use it.

Early internet protocols also weren't scalable nor usable by normies.

Many faded out of use and new ones became the defacto standards.

Yet, the foundation is all still there.

At the end of the day, layers are just an abstraction that most people won't even be aware of - They'll be aware of applications and how to use them. If that means locking sats into a LN channel via an on-chain TX they'll do so. If that means creating VTXOs to be able to retain self-custody whilst transacting cheaply, they'll do so. It's possible one of those UXs will win out over the other too.

I think it's the UXs that will really need focus at some point soonish, and that UX will naturally streamline and standardise which protocols are used in other layers.

"The social engineering is neither accidental nor coincidental. The ultimate goal is to achieve absolute control over an individual, because those who have lost their sense of personal identity are receptive to auto-suggestion."

What's your excuse now, anon?

Yet another easy-to-use node implementation, from the people who have one of the number 1 custodial services.

So, let's see how many @getalby people actually complete the PoW challenge and achieve sovereignty at layer 2....

Privacy, freedom and sovereignty is earned.
