This situation happened before because you tried some new Nostr clients. It may be that the new client has a problem with the way it handles the relay's watchlist. Because different relays pull different historical data.

You can use this to restore your watchlist. https://follows.nostr.com/

if you're lucky and it restores your contacts then make sure to use metadata.nostr.com once a month to backup your nostr events.
