It's been 84 days...
Final stretch...just a few more months of data to process for this Bitcoin Supply Distribution & Age by Realized Price analysis.
If you think this is extreme fear then you might've forgotten what it was like last bear market.
Not if everyone's super bearish on bitcoin, they can't lol.
They would if there was legitimate fear that they might not be able to service their debt without selling some of their bitcoin at a loss.
If $543 was the cycle's peak and $MSTR sees a drawdown like the last bear market, it could drop to $55 by Sep '26. I doubt this will happen, but can you imagine the FUD if it did? Sounds like a fun time to me. 😂
Nobody thinks this will be their last chance to buy bitcoin below $80k...you know what that means.
Congratulations if you were sitting on the sidelines with some fiat dry powder. Your bitcoin denominated net worth just went up but it's only on paper until you sell that fiat and secure those gains.
Another LSP hub whose rates for inbound liquidity are relatively low.
I'm having fun. Ya'll having fun?
Progress has slowed further as I process the last two years of data. My computer froze and restarted several times while running 4 parallel instances, so I've reduced it to 2, which analyze about a month's worth of data per day. ⏳
Empty mempool and 1 sat/vB fee rates...time to open another Lightning channel and get a little more inbound liquidity...because why not. ⚡
Green is where current price is above the daily dca'ers cost basis (i.e. they're in the green/in profit on their investment) and red is where current price is below (i.e. they're in the red/at a loss on their investment).
Please remember to consolidate your UTXOs only after fee rates are back above 100 sat/vB. 🍻
Yeah, this ain't no 80IQ'er chart...sorry. 😂
Updated the x-axis labels on this Daily DCA Cost Basis chart from days to years for clarity. For example, someone who's daily DCA'd over the past 6 years has a cost basis of about $20k, while someone who's daily DCA'd for 4 years has a cost basis just under $40k. Make sense?
Not for long. I bet most of it will be transferred to the traditional banks once they begin to offer "bitcoin savings accounts"...not that that's gonna be much better though.
