It’s very hard to fast when you have a Taiwanese wife. Food is just too much a part of Taiwan culture. It’s so important that one of the main greetings in Taiwanese is, “Ja ba bui?” which translates to “Have you eaten your fill yet?”
I wanted to do a 36 or 48 hour fast. I normally don’t eat breakfast and I skipped lunch. I don’t feel hungry but my wife informed me that my son is going to cook a steak for me. I might have to wait until next week when my wife is away for work to do a proper fast. Is it still considered fasting if I only eat one meal a day?
Anyway, I could use some prayer. I have some things on my mind I need guidance on. Any prayers would be appreciated.

I’ve been doing door dash and Uber eats to make a little extra money. It seems like it’s been slow lately though. I think it’s because a lot of college students were doing it during the summer break. Maybe it will pick up once they’re back in classes.

I saw this and zapped it a few times. Then I saw another similar one pop up with a different kid so I got suspicious. Also, they just kept posting the same thing over and over again, no updates on her progress. It’s sad that scammers would take advantage of the generosity of others by pulling at their heart strings with a fake story of a kid suffering from cancer.

I’ve noticed some of my lines were a bit wobbly so when I have time I’m going to try fixing that. Once I’m happy with it I’m thinking of painting it on my truck.
It does lather up well. I just started using it in my hair (and it is long), even though I've never used bar soap as shampoo before. I've stopped buying shampoo. Once you've used nostr:npub1zzmxvr9sw49lhzfx236aweurt8h5tmzjw7x3gfsazlgd8j64ql0sexw5wy's soaps, there's no going back.
