I said, can I pay with bitcoin. Without hesitation, she said yes and changed the payment to a lightning invoice. Then as I started to pay, I realized it was a teaching moment and asked the teller if she wanted to see what it looked like on my side of the transaction. She said yes, then two other staff members and two other customers hovered around me so I could demonstrate how easy it was.
After the transaction was complete, I spent a few minutes talking to customers about why this was a big deal and why they should do it too.
I wrapped up my time by having a good conversation with a retired bank CFO who I talked through the process, explained the benefits, and how it drastically reduces fees. This banker actually remembered the first merchant in my town that started accepting cc’s. It was a good evening for sure. Now I just need my new stickers to come in so I can give them to the merchants in town accepting ₿itcoin. Excited that one merchant already accepting Bitcoin is reopening a popular restaurant/bar after the 1st and I know they are going with Square. I feel sure they will accept ₿itcoin payments there too.

I need to find the old photos from when I was a kid. Bitbees, see my response to Kingbee. I tried to explain it and gave some websites to use as well. One thing to remember, when you select mesh and then see all of your personal data listed like Fishcake has shown here, this is real specific if information about where you are at. So I would be careful using your current location information. If you want to see how specific, make a note of your information, then type it this map.

You can also drill down on the map I sent KingB and find the location. Geohash take the lat and long of a location and puts it into a grid.
Easiest way to experience teleporting is to go to this site. When the map loads, select any dot on the map and it will open a pop up showing the active chat and give you an option to “open chat.” Once opened, you will see an alpha numeric code aka a Geohash I’m the top left. This designates the deemed location of the chat.
Now open Bitchat, click mesh in top right, then type that code in Geohash blank and hit the teleport button. It will take you to that chat in Bitchat. When you select the chat, it tells you the Geohash. You can also start your on chat by typing a Geohash that doesn’t have to be your actual location. For instance if you type 9rb in the Geohash and hit teleport, you will start a chat in Eugene Oregon.
