From the old school. An iconoclast of today's modern moronic culture

It took Americans long enough to realize how awful tasting that beer is. With all the different local microbreweries at their disposal to try, there's no reason to be drinking corpo swill at all.

Yeah, I still have alot of family that still live there or more like stuck there. Both of my parents lived and met there so NY is the reason why I'm even alive lol. But since I left the country, I've lost touch with pretty much everyone there. I came back to the states to buy a car and then take a take a roadtrip to go see them. Unfortunately, everything about that trip, all my plans went to shit and I got "sick" for the first time since I last lived in NY...long story. I was able to at least get to facetime some of them but it was also what I feared given my research and knowing about the CCP-style covid response there; unwell, fatigued, noticeable weight-gain, probably Vxed.

Oh and I gotta give a +1 for Michael Kreiger, I used to read his liberty blitkrieg blog way back in like 2012-18 and had his twitter bookmarked when I dropped twitter for good. I've always enjoyed reading his insights and what he had to write/tweet.

I found it hard to believe myself. That's why I was hoping you'd cover this in more detail on your pod as time progresses as we see what comes of this new development.

https://youtu.be/zUDvYU-jDbA lol New York is a failed state. But politics don’t matter! Orange pillers say so

Glad I left there 8 years ago. Traffic sucked for driving a RWD 6-speed, 3rd world-tier roads, hassled by cops in the mornings on the parkway entrance, the people in general mentally unwell, pfizered up to their eyeballs in debt trying to keep up with the Joneses. Couldn't justify the COL for all the hassle and insanity of living in a failed society.

It's very reasonable to think that given what we've know about FTX money laundering and SBF's ties to the current junta in the US. He's definitely being protected somehow but I was caught off guard with this news today and didn't think he'd be sent back.

Great ep! Finally got a chance to catch your pod for the 1st time. I like your vibe and I'll definitely be listening to more in the future. I'd love to hear in the next episode on SBF going back to jail where he belongs. I don't have fountain set up yet (too many apps to deal with) so I'm zapping you here instead.

I remember seeing this movie in the theaters back then. Gotta revisit it sometime now that DMX is gone.

It's long past time for these 304s to suffer the consequences of their actions.

Nature and the Earth provides us with everything we need to heal ourselves in many cases. Most prescription medications are chemically related compounds that are poorly attempted copies of plant substances. This is because they can't patent plants but they can patent chemical compounds derived from plants. The worst part about it all is that the doctors have always been in collusion with the pharmaceutical companies to profit off your poor health by prescribing pharmaceutical products as the solution. They should never be trusted to look after your well-being.

TBH, I've never really had much of a phone addiction. I basically treat it like a tool. I try to maintain a balance in things and to not be overly reliant on any particular tech. So I could never understand how people can be so addicted to these damn screens. I dunno...guess just built different.

I tend to only use the phone when I step out of the house, connect the bluetooth to the cars, the occasional useful app from time to time, when I'm not using English, or when I need to translate something on the fly. I don't even take my phone with me when I go jogging.

Whatever it is I can do on the phone, I can do on the various desktop computers I've assembled with my own hands while viewing it on a much larger monitor or big screen TV. Though I've taken a liking to the seamless multilingual capabilities on a phone over a pc.

I would personally love to go back to the pre-phone days back before humans devolved into mindless zombies trapped in their own self-induced bubble. (maybe they were always like that but the tech and incessant advertising/propaganda helped amplify it in an exponential way) In a way, I am grateful to have lived through the analog era albeit briefly.

I commend and do wish you the best of luck in trying to detox even slightly from the electronics.

I used to always have music and water on me at all times when I ran outdoors for many years. But I've been doing without since the scamdemic...getting rid of old habits and developing new. Kinda went crazy end of last year basically running every day for a couple of months once I saw tremendous progress.

Since running without electronics on me, it's been almost like an active meditation for me being out in nature, birds flying around and chirping around me, the views of the mountains and the moon...its quite tranquil for me when I'm out there while being cognizant on my breathing and just letting my thoughts run wild without any distractions.

That said at the gym I definitely need my music. The "modurrn music" they play at my gym is repulsive to my ears.

I pretty much always go running without having any electronics on me. I only have the treadmill at the gym to track these things. Lately, I've been interested in keeping track of it.

Last month I joined the darkside and bought a pretty fast SUV after driving the same car for 20 years now. It's 20th year hasn't been good to me so far. But I'll get to restoring her mechanically. My biggest concern is my new car has been stuck at the cargo ship waiting to disembark but the port workers are on strike.

While I'm waiting for my car to arrive it doesn't help that I had to be reminded of something that I already knew was going to be an ongoing problem with this electric clownery.

#ProofofWork I suppose despite being slightly stiff from my last training session. What was initially going to be a light 10 minute warm-up just to get the blood-flow going morphed into a fun little impromptu game to see if I could get to 3 miles within 30 minutes despite a snail-like pace at the start.

I've never really logged any data on my cardio as I don't carry any electronics on me of any kind when I go out running. But now that I have a benchmark to go by, I'm absolutely certain I can beat the US Marine Corps fitness guideline of 3 miles/5 km within 28 minutes.

Office 2013 still works without any problems for me 10 years later... though I don't use Windoze as much these days.

Excellent point. This is something that I've struggled with especially after everything that has transpired the past several years. But it is something I'm cognizant of and am trying to improve on.

Over the years, social media has ABSOLUTELY distanced myself from others. Just far too much stupidity from people in general for me to want to actively participate in it. Plus it doesn't help having a ton of other interests that take up my time. So trying to meet people online that I can resonate with is an exercise in futility for me. I just think the amount of time I would have to invest in it to get the desired outcome is not worthwile unless it was for business purposes.

Back in the early dial-up days of the internet, I didn't feel this way at all. I would actually look forward to chatting with people online then. However, nostr is giving me that old charm of the early days of the internet. Though I do have concern about that eventually fading as the rest of the mainstream social medias continue to go down the gutter.

Salud compañero. What you're going through right now with your mother would be a nightmare for me. Enviaré más tarde cuando tengo la oportunidad. ⚡

The prolifieration of all these senseless electric toys has definietly helped plunge my interest in cars like a shitcoin chart. While new cars are faster and more comfortable, they feel more like appliances to eventually be disposed of. Soulless like the fake exhaust note you'd hear coming out of the speakers of these modern cars.

It's promising, if what you indeed say is true, that the youth are into the older cars. Makes it easier for me to find some talent to help restore the new classics.
