Yeah. I considered this and it’s relation to optimally scheduling posts. I already have pretty cool data around hourly activity (which can seem creepy too.. but I can’t see how you would obscure it in Nostr anyway).
And as you said, I think generally the sweet spot doesn’t change. However for an individual accounts and their engagement, it certainly could.

This could be a cool visualisation for Nostr activity. Any kinds of data people would like mapped? Posts, Zaps, engagement, reactions, replies?
Added some relay stats to Nostrrr.com using NIP-45 COUNT. The only relay that supports it afaik is wss://relay.nostr.band Check out a preview on https://nostrrr.com/relay/nrelay1qqt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wvfskueq4r295t Needs some work on the relay side to be able to show profile/note/zap counts but that's planned.

I’ve noticed that apart from media upload, NIP and LN stuff, there’s been a lot of resistance to use HTTP APIs.
Maybe it’s trust on data, avoiding a dependency that could disappear, no standard APIs - so people have lock-in, or few APIs providers are available today, etc. Maybe none are paid, but the ecosystem can’t really support paid today.
Not sure. I’m keen to understand this better, as I see value and underdeveloped Nostr opportunities.

Is a zap that’s worth $0.0003 any different to a like, however with extra metadata, failure chance, and just effective noise on the lightning network?

It does have a faq explaining that deletes are best effort. The template engine just has this hidden.
Oh. And I don’t persist kinds in the 20k range. I suspect the kind 5 delete count are high due to spam as well. Likely some historic channel spam kind 42 as well.
This is solely the raw json data. When you add other columns and extract out to other tables and add indexes… my Postgres DB is at 130GB. Very little spam in there.
Keep in mind I haven’t purged old kind 3, because I generate change in followers over time graphs.. but I sometimes need to re-generate the data while I improve it.
