I went out last week for the first time and got a black trigger fish. So much fun!
Nothing except finding someone to lend to them and the inevitability of them having to pay the loan or have their corn yoinked. They have to play by the same rules as everyone else.
Bitcoin fixes a lot but it doesn’t fix immorality. You need Jesus for that.
By using Bitcoin, an individual or government gets the benefits of it, but they don’t get to control it.
Having a lot of money gives you a certain amount of power. It’s unrealistic to expect everyone with power in the fiat system to go down with the ship instead of porting their wealth over to the bitcoin ark.
The deep state gets weaker with Bitcoin because their power isn’t in how much money they have it’s in their ability to print it at will, along with blackmail.
Not a good idea for who? I’ve personally adopted a BSR and it’s working out great. Bitcoin fixes the money because the incentives are the same for the people you like and don’t like. If a BSR for the USA entrenches its current power in a better monetary system, it also opens up new weaknesses and ways for them to be held accountable.
I agree compassion is a virtue, but can you have compassion without empathy?
It seems to me that compassion is the action response to empathy. And while I could see empathy being destructive, I don’t think it is inherently destructive. Consider the following definitions
Empathy
“the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another”
Compassion
“sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it”
Yes, I know. I'm talking about $45,000 USD or more. I did not find the liquidity on the non-kyc platforms mentioned, but I did at a platform like Swan. Basically bisq, hodlhodl, and robosats were not useful to my friend unless they wanted to make 200 small transactions.
Which of these have the liquidity to buy with any sort of size over $200? Had someone wanting non kyc and wanted a whole coin. Ended up sending them to Swan, then coinjoin.
Are there any options with any liquidity? Tried to onboard some people who wanted a coin and the nonKYC options could only do $100-$1000 at a time…
