I often reassure myself with that thought. If folks in power had a solid hold on our view of reality, they wouldn't be panicking like this.

There is so much confusion around the US Constitution in this regard. Many ppl seem to think that it GIVES us rights, but in fact it just acknowledges that we have natural rights, and limits the power of the state with regard to those natural rights.

Yup. We recently bought eggs as well - first time in months - and they're meh - pale, not very flavorful.

Also daikon for compaction control, or at least I'm counting on that! We have very hard clay soil, and I'm planting daikon, crimson clover and winter peas around fruit and nut trees this fall. The daikon and winter peas are already coming up, and (I hope) we'll see the clover in the spring.
