Omega, make an intro post (#introductions) and tell us about yourself or your interests
Finally found my way into the Nostr universe. As a non-programming geek. I come more from the philosophical-artistic corner. What helped me were the explanatory videos by nostr:npub1lelkh3hhxw9hdwlcpk6q9t0xt9f7yze0y0nxazvzqjmre3p98x3sthkvyz and the Alby browser extension. Let's see what happens next with an old iphone 6 ;-)
Anyway:
hello world
#introductions

Hey there! Welcome to Nostr
It's hopeless. I don't even know how many people fell for it. I'm sure some did, but most didn't know it was happening. At this point it doesn't seem to matter what the electorate wants anyway
Welcome! it's a great community.
Hi Nostr!
My name is Haldis, and I’m @dirtybee.co and @haldisinwonderland over on TikTok. #introductions
I’ve never really been into FB and deleted Instagram as soon as they got bought. TikTok and Pinterest have been my only social media Platforms…until today. 🤗
Like many newcomers today, I stumbled upon the viral video nostr:npub1r8wdfruydenz84fxfespcswuhcvyatx6umtd5xguexup49u500xskf50hn posted, and I’m thrilled such a fantastic protocol exists.
I’m a late-in-life diagnosed PDA AuDHDr, and my special interests are #honeybees, #flowhive, and AI - I know, I know…my guilt hits me in the gut with every prompt.
I mostly use social media to share my tips and tricks on #beekeeping, learn more about my brain (PDA ASD ADHD), ancient history, witchy, woo woo, the universe, gossip and craft ideas. #wherethefiskatemiddleton
I take care of lots of living things and anthropomorphize everything else. I'm super nerdy. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and cosplay is rad.
Not sure what to expect with Nostr, but it’s fun to learn new things. ☀️
welcome!
Yeah, I've been wondering this as well. I would think that the verdict from this case - and all the evidence uncovered - would be very useful for his victims.
shoot. I had trouble as well but I know that others are using it regularly.
My guess is that it's a relay question. Pablo replied to my post to you with something about configuring relays. Or maybe doing a search for #shipyard might turn up some helpful info?
It was designed for exactly what you need!
welcome! take your time looking around. It's a great place 😃
I've gone from fretting over these things to assuming they're going to happen - incentives at work - and just looking forward to the potentials of the next steage
So if these particles sometimes cause disease and sometimes not, the crucial element is the terrain, right?
Georgia Ede is a LEGEND. This presentation she did 4 years ago is still one of the best ever for explaining why depriving yourself of meat is straight brain-abuse, and bound to cause mental dysfunction at some point down the line 👇
Thanks - hadn't seen this one!
I teach a lot of teenagers, many of whom are really struggling, and listening to Georgia Ede makes me want to cry. I've tried a few times talking with parents about the importance of diet on mental health but they're really not interested. Hours of therapy, family counseling, all manner of drugs... but somehow watching a short video of a psychiatrist talking about food is just too much.
my posts disappeared as well as any indication that I had donated! it seemed weird to me but I'm still new to figuring out relays.
yikes - 8 days?!
OMAD carnivore will cut you pretty quickly. You'll lose some fat and probably a bunch of water, and you'll come out of it in better health than you went in. Can be easy or tough depending on how different it is from how you usually eat.
Fasting is great but 8 days is very long if you're not in the habit of it and/or if you're not fat-adapted already.
nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft made a client for this!
Shipyard
FWIW it actually didn't work for me. I suspect it was a relay problem on my end - not sure. But I think that others are using it. I remember nostr:npub1vwymuey3u7mf860ndrkw3r7dz30s0srg6tqmhtjzg7umtm6rn5eq2qzugd posting about it.
I hope it works for you! I love seeing your updates.
nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx could you do another podcast on Roman (and maybe the lawyers can let us know what we can do to help)?
I would also recommend p2p even if it takes longer, but I totally understand the kyc impulse. I've nearly given up on p2p for family because for many of them it's just too big a hurdle.
For local bitcoiners in Austria, have you looked into the einundzwanzig network?
