which is a bit silly that it is from the perspective of gains in the fiat currency, it could be argued (without success I am sure), that there is no profit, as I did not increase my holding in bitcoins just that bitcoin ticked up in cuck-bucks. But I have a feeling this is not a valid argument in the eyes of the law.

Funny how AML/KYC really has not helped very much with catching fraudulent transactions, almost like it is just another way to add fees for all the law-abiding citizens but not for the criminals (they arguably charge these fees)

I would suspect that the media thought bitcoin would die, so all the people buying would loose their money. Many did, but few of the people who went into bitcoin and nothing else with self-sovereign wallets, those people if they stayed long enough didn't loose anything.

Harris being seemingly friendly is probably only a promise to get into the white house. But then Trump's promise might be a lot of the same.

Though Harris does not seem more fit for office than what Biden has proven to be.
