Are you sure about that??? The relays you subscribe will be able to easily implement filters there by reducing reach.
There has been a lot of discussion. Long term Relays will implement context recognition and filter posts based on user preference. You will be able to control what you get to see. The issue is that it is processing intensive and costs money so when the economic sort out that will be a good stand out feature. Think of Facebook in early days how it didn’t have filter for language and pictures.

We lost a lot of literature in long arc of time. If only we had all the data we could understand the psychology of people in the past and know why they did things they did.
