There are alternatives to hardware wallets, but I don't think anyone is denying that. It's a good tool in a larger toolkit, and like with everything there are trade-offs. It all comes down to how the user decides to use the tools.
These arguments look odd to me.
For example.. how is the criminal context argument a hardware issue? This is how bitcoin and cryptography work; the owner of the seed is in charge.. regardless of where that seed is stored and regardless of the owner's (in this case ill) intent. Feature, not a bug.
I'd do everything in my power to _not_ have to trade those sats for fiat right now. This is the ultimate no KYC stack 😄.
Pure engagement farming. It's nonsense and he knows it.
And besides.. you don't _have_ to pay it. If one one buys it at that price, the premiums will come down over time. Unless of course all those people are at a loss and don't want to sell it for any less.. in which case it is all temporary :].
One day I'll go back there.. got some unfinished business 🤓

I just saw your other screenshot. Black dhide bodies? Filthy rich..
Just banking at GotR or actually playing? Pretty chill minigame.
What's happening here with the difficulty adjustment?
On my own node it shows:

Limited ankle mobility makes my squat a bit difficult without some support. Really hurts my balance.
Budget neutral ways
As a bitcoin maxi, life is simple. You simply always are all in. And of course looking at “price” it’s not always wise.
So a beautiful example of conviction as I’m going through some historical buys with the print screens and the actual numbers.
At the end of 2021 I sold my bike rental, bikelimburg.
My last bit of fiat came in and as always, I directly converted it into bitcoin.
I just started nostr:nprofile1qqsqx8xlj3slw6yt3nx208fal6vm598tetl8nkzgdtwnqmyw83g7u0cpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejqzyrhwden5te0dehhxarj9emkjmn9ksq35g and knew I needed the money later. It would take years to create a profitable company.
But I bought bitcoin at this top anyway.
I spend €5000,- (which was basically $5000,- back then). To see it be (1/4) €1250,- a year later.
In November 2022, we had basically no new clients, not a single business case made sense for mining on that fiat level.
And basically nobody believed in it anymore at that time.
I was earning some fiat through BitcoinBrabant still and some side jobs at that moment.
I always bought bitcoin.
Proof of it below 👇

Awesome 😃. Even the 2021 purchases look good if you wait long enough. I can imagine this was a test for your conviction, especially if there is doubt in your surroundings.
I sometimes have 'nightmares' about the price dipping and not having fiat ready to stack sats. The worst.
