GM. Today is already off to an excellent start already, with a fresh ☕ and a great new long-form article on how stablecoins make Bitcoin, lightning and ecash win by nostr:nprofile1qqsgym5l39dcr26p53fzy69jf8ng6qk2s9sgmm6k9fynem34llzuwkgpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpzdmhxue69uhkummnw3ezud3sxqh8warxsa8fge . This thesis may be "half-baked" but it's certainly a lot more baked than anything else I've read on the topic.
Dude, are you sure you've detoxed enough from X? It was a light-hearted note in a friendly conversation...
Having a bad day?
I was out mountainbiking today. Wildfire season now starts in spring apparently 😬. The arsonists have been caught by the way, it was our military and they nearly burnt down their own base 🔥. 2nd shot shows how close the fire came 😅

Awesome! Is the CBCD typo intentional? 😉
Keep up the great job, reporting signal over noise 👍
So what you're essentially trying to say is that more government intervention can be a good thing if it improves workers rights and leads to more sustainable produce?
That's very liberal of you 😅
It probably started with an unwillingness to acknowledge the USD devalued so quickly back in the early 70's by the Nixon admin, and here we are at $3200/oz 50 years later 😅
Nah, instead they'll just revalue the gold they have. It's still on the balance sheet for $42 / oz, the price it was when they rugpulled the world in 1971. It would make available a trillion dollar or so instantly
GM. It's peaceful, but not the first.
IMHO, last century's #feminism was the largest, most peaceful and by far the most successful protest movement in the history of humanity
And 50% of all remaining Bitcoin will be mined in the next 4 years, while the other 50% will take more than a century to mine 🤯
Ah, the underbelly before facts argument.
Well, at least RFK Jr came to his senses when confronted with the facts in a position of responsibility, I'll give him that
Why do you provide COVID related arguments to argue against taking an MMR vaccine for which we have >50 years of experience, including very solid data about adverse effects? 🤔

The city and the people are amazing. That second shot has mount Fuji in the background, which I only just found out while processing 😂

Nice summary 😂. I expect Gemini 2.5 to remain free for quite a while, at least until Google have some market share
I've always found it fascinating how Europe chose to remove borders between countries. There's an "external" border still of course, but everyone within those borders can travel freely to and from 29 different countries with their own people, governments and culture. 🇪🇺
Additionally, spraying the world at scale with endocrine disrupting chemicals maybe wasn't a great idea after all. PFAS, PCBs, PFCs, BPA, Atrazine.... the list is very long and under Trump the EPA is likely to deregulate all of it
