I'm a huge Porsche fan and I'm with you; I'd never pay top dollar for such a bare bones vehicle. If you're looking for a Porsche, consider a Taycan. I love mine. Had a 911 Turbo S before that and loved it also. But these overpriced racecars? Total waste of money in my opinion.

Thanks, bro. Just turned 52. These positive affirmations mean the world to me.

Exactly. God foiled Nimrod and his Tower of Babel. Tripping up some tech billionaire won't be a problem for Him.

Oh my goodness, Forbes is right. Government bonds are definitely the way to go. How could I have missed that? I guess I was so blown away by their in-depth analysis of "Top 7 LED Facemasks," "Sustainable Swimsuits," and "AI Kissing Apps" that I overlooked the brilliant pearls of financial wisdom Forbes actually provides! My bad.

I don't disagree, but the flip side is, unless a man feels an overwhelming compulsion to breed, he doesn't really need a wife either.

A woman should only be a complement to a man's life, never the focus of it. Not long ago, this wasn't the case. Marriage once imputed to a man a certain level of societal respect and privilege, a just reward for the level of self-sacrifice and commitment he was willing to offer.

That's no longer the case. Today, husbands are mocked and denigrated and rational men have realized the truth: All the benefits a wife once provided can now be had without the financial risk and commitment of marriage.

I'd even take it a step further and say that radical feminism, no fault divorce, and the mockery of men in pop culture has yielded a state of affairs that benefits men more than women. Well, at least a certain class of men.

A goverment will never default on a bond denominated in currency they can print -- which is even worse because you can't even hedge the risk with credit default swaps.

Took a big step yesterday and switched to Linux.

I needed a little help with the BIOS parts of the process and the ever patient nostr:npub1wezprxcca3tttvnhncxsxhnhz25av6wml0jm9305tr94vjhmdj2s2e62hu was there for that.

I cannot believe how easy and intuitive it is now that it’s up and running.

Im so glad to be free of windows finally!!

My favourite thing about it so far is the absolutely delightful default alert tones. 😌

If you’ve been thinking about it and putting it off because it seems overwhelming just give it a go.

Please post some updates on your progress occasionally! I'm a lifelong Windows user and found some of the nerdy command line stuff in Linux a bit intimidating. That was decades ago though. Would love to see how it works out for you.

As a winemaker, you might assume I drink all the time. 🍷

The truth is, alcohol is powerful, addictive, and demands balance. Early in my career, I had to confront my relationship with it head-on, and it wasn’t easy.

When I started my winery, I had almost zero experience. To learn fast, I had to TASTE a ton of wine. But that quickly turned into DRINKING a ton of wine. At first, it was just a glass after work. Then it became earlier and earlier in the day. It didn’t take an expert to see where this was headed.

One month into an intense period of winemaking, I found myself drinking instead of spitting at 8 AM tastings. By noon, I was pouring myself glasses “just because.” No one else knew what was happening, but I realized I was on a slippery slope.

One morning, I woke up craving alcohol. That’s when it finally clicked—I was at the beginning stages of addiction. Mixing unlimited access to wine with alcohol dependency was a recipe for disaster. I had to make a decisive change to protect my health, my craft, and my future.

Finding YOUR balance is key. For me, wine isn’t an escape—it’s a tool to enhance life. A good bottle can elevate a meal into a memorable experience. It’s best shared with people you love. Love and moderation make those moments all the sweeter.

Don’t learn the hard way like I did. Drink to enhance, not to escape. Make the moments you do drink special.

That’s why I craft natural wines that help you feel good during and after drinking.

Great post, man. You're becoming a really good writer. Loved the six pack of wine I got from you a few months back.

I'm fifty-one years old and heard "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" by ABBA for the first time at a Bitcoin 100k party a few weeks back. I had to Shazam it to discover who sings it. I could certainly use more ABBA in my life.

For those who are 99%+ in BTC, short and medium term price action have a material impact on immediate buying power, expense budgeting, hedging strategies, fiat borrowing levels, etc.

Being all in on BTC in a fiat-centric world often requires some strategic planning for which price action can be a key input.
