You’re assuming that taxes are a net good for society. I reject that foundation in your argument.

As evidenced by DOGE’s findings, the government is terrible with capital allocation, and rampant with fraud and waste. We should focus on that problem, before we have any discussion about whether someone “pays their fair share.”

Personally, I hope Trump frees Ross today, but doesn’t sign the SBR (if he’s going to) until sometime in February.

If there’s no word about it, it should flush out speculators, and give plebs more time to front run nation states.

Until you do, I’ll add that good nutrition, access to clean water, and indoor plumbing (waste removal) have done more for human health and flourishing than any pharmaceutical intervention.

That’s why 3rd world countries that don’t have those three things - but often have access to vaccines thru the Gates foundation, UN, etc. - have mortality rates similar to the US circa the late 1800’s.
