Since my youth (I'm now nearly midway through my sixth decade) I've been a Christian and a political activist. I entered the Roman Catholic Church Easter 2020. I'm working to sync the lived experience of Christianity with political activism in Maine, America and this fast changing internet driven world. Thanks for helping.

Pope Leo XIV's Dilexi te declares faith inseparable from love for the poor. Drawing from Scripture and tradition, it condemns "structures of sin" in economies that exploit workers through unjust wages and financial speculation, widening inequality. The prophets denounced usury…

As "Nobody's Girl" drops in two days, Virginia Giuffre's raw cry from the grave exposes Epstein's elite web of sin—trafficking innocents like chattel for kings and princes. No consent in chains, no mercy in mansions. Christ demands justice for the broken; Trump and MAGA must…

Maine's "No Kings" circus: Augusta cops chain a patriot like Corn Pop for daring to stand firm, while Portland's "protest" clears out faster than a lobster boil gone wrong. Bangor's boomers chant against shadows—Gov. Mills' commie choir preaching to empty pews. Christ the King…

This is well produced and factual on Israel, antisemitism and the jews.

Release the files.

ngl sometimes it feels like we just traded the censorship risk of big tech for the 'too many knobs' risk of nostr. If X or FB aren't working for you, there's a good chance it isn't working for most. That's not necessarily true with nostr, especially if you're the type who is vulnerable to the "Check out the latest vibe-coded client" hype. Like it or not there's some wisdom in "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

A few weeks ago I was tinkering around in Primal's network settings and enabled the 'enhanced privacy' option and it seemed to break everything for me. Right around the same time there was an update to Amethyst that left me completely confused about proper relay settings and unable to trace the problem. I'm still confused as to how relay changes are handled when you jump from one client to another. Does Primal adopt the changes you made in Jumble or does everything revert back to the way it was the last time you used Primal?

Add to that, zap failures. If I get three consecutive failures when zapping three different people, I can't help but suspect the problem is somehow on my end even if Alby is reporting all-good. If all that isn't enough, then you have stuff like caching servers, blossom servers, etc. And by the time BTC Sessions (God bless him) makes a video showing us how to configure and use something, seems like everyone has moved on to something bigger and better.

I just don't think most content creators have the time or patience to both create their content, deal with meatspace BS, and troubleshoot their nostr experience, especially when they can keep rolling the dice and get more engagement with the 'post to multiple platforms' approach.

Sorry for the rant but it seems like nostr has a serious deficiency in skilled translators who can take what these code monkey geniuses build and teach us mouth-breathers how to use it. 😂

I like the idea of nostr. I hope the devs can make it work.

That's what happens when you allow your culture to obliterate marriage and family. Pleasures are diminished by license. God made us free to choose heavenly s*x ... or hell.

Seeing you play in front of the ocean background inspires countless pleasant memories of Patrick O'Brian's fantastic descriptions of musical friends Jack Aubrey and Stephen Maturin coming together in the frigate's cabin to distract themselves from the day's trials with a classical duet. If unfamiliar simply google "Aubrey/Maturin." Or better yet watch the Russell Crowe film "Master and Commander."

I'm a few weeks in. Enjoying the experience so far. Primal is a big help. I was on board with the Nostr ideology long before I knew it existed. George Gilder's "Life After Google" helped a lot. nostr:nprofile1qyv8wumn8ghj7urjv4kkjatd9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsqzqw9pe5d7jzu63xxjg9wuzqwlppc0zkmjag3umv9dl2h6eqxs9lgf0euh5m made me aware of Primal. His book helped me conclude Bitcoin is money.
