Yes, I can see how it can be a curious thing to wonder. Especially when there are narratives out there that generalizes “all couples” only “want pets, or choosing to not have kids”.

However, when broad statements or agendas like that are promoted—especially on such a sensitive topic—it’s easier for most people to accept them at face value rather than consider the many complex and difficult reasons a couple may have. This, in turn, can lead to judgment or scorn.

That said, I fully acknowledge that some couples or individuals do consciously choose not to have children. Ultimately, that’s a deeply personal decision.

Whether someone has children, wants children, or is unable to have them is a private issue between the individuals and couples. And for some cases, it might have nothing to do w/ “scientific” reasons, as there are many possible factors at play.

I think having an open conversation your hot couple 5+ years couples —if they’re comfortable sharing—could provide insight. However, it’s also important to recognize that some may only share a surface-level response, as the real reasons might be too personal or private to discuss. And if they have uncertain fears, that’s where you might be encouraging to them as a dad/ parent yourself. ✨

That’s a broad statement. You’d be surprised, however probably not open to the fact, some couples are struggling to have children. (for many different reasons) Maybe something to consider.

It’s a blessing you have kids, and I’m sure there’s more couples out there trying to have kids than what we know.
