I will be the first admit that my decision to embrace dandilions, clover, amd furns was due in a large part to laziness.
But you have to admit this is pretty (even if it didn't last long)
to clarify that a bit more, I installed ubuntu on the mac mini, them installed Umbrel, and used the Umbrel app store (one click installs) to install a nostr relay and tailscale.
I setup one with Umbrel OS/tailscail vpn on an old mac mini last night and it was super easy.
It's not so much that they don't want to be associated with porn as it is they hate losing money.
People either try to claim their card was stolen when their wife finds out they spent a bunch of money, or shady porn providers trick them into $99 a month subscriptions with a 3 day "free trial" that it's almost impossible to cancel.
And all those chargebacks and investigations hit the bottom line.

100%! i detest venmo and their abundance of crypto tokens. it degrades bitcoin, and is in bad taste.
I unfortunately have Venmo because my boss uses it (she likes to send pizza money when we're working on long distance projects) It's awful to use and worse it's owned by paypal. They are already constantly trying to push a credit card on me and I'm sure it won't be long before they are pushing the new paypal token even harder.
