I use an old 2012 Mac Mini with Ubuntu installed as my umbrel machine. Dead simple and silent. You can generally pick them up for less than $100.

Moose eat leaves and bark so basically every yard has a feeder in it. I get them in my yard all the time, they're all over.
But in general it's a very we leave you alone, you leave us alone kind of thing for the most part. They have terrible eyesight so if you're not within like 30 feet they don't really even notice you.
