Every human social order is built on TRUST. Violence happens when trust is abused.

Bitcoin enables trustless transactions, this decreasing the ability to abuse the trust

This is an excellent idea!

But we need a white list, so that you can add friends and family.

Which brings us to the question what if someone changes his key pair and wants you to add his new key to the white list, or a family member who just joined nostr? How will he notify you?

You are not wrong.

Still there is always the question, why at this digital age do we need to do things physically?

Using that question socialists will push a digital id.

You (and I) might not like non in person voting but right now the US is stubbornly allowing Mail voting. When the criticizers will point out to how unsecure that is, the socialists will pull out digital IDs.

The best way to go, is to prevent digital IDs. The second best is to offer a privacy respecting alternative.

I agree that that is why gov are pushing digital IDs.

If we want to stop them we need to understand how they are pushing this. Right now they are finding problems and claim that only their digital ID will solve them.

If we want to stop them, we must present alternativs.

Online actions. For instance, online voting. Or access to private information.

Bank identification.

We can say: Let's all use Monero. But gov are not going to adopt a system that they can't tax.

I wish we can go all in with a libertarian gov. That is not going to happen. What we can do is push gov and society towards liberty. For that you need an alternative to bad ideas.

Right. That is why I think it's better if it was flat against gold.

But thes second best is flat against USD. Even though it means that inflation is eating away at XMR, it means that it is acting as money and not as an investment asset.

That is not entirely true.

More Bitcoin can be made if there is a consensus amongst miners

What will the results of the elections look like if a person could vote only if he gave to taxes more then he took from government?

From my point of view, a government salary is also taking from government...

A perfect picture of government!
