Don’t really, they just have privacy centered policies. Kinda like trusting a BON to do no logging. But it’s Erik Vorhees and he specifically built it so he didn’t have to use ChatGPT. I generally trust him not to be stupid or malicious. But you should always treat it like a service run by someone else… because it is.

I used to use Venice, but the better models are now paywalled and require an account.
I'm happy to pay for great products. $50 for the year is a steal.

I’d normally agree with you, but the fact this is a privacy-centric product, by signing up with an email and providing payment information you have to trust they will keep their promises - may as well just use ChatGPT/Anthropic at this point?
I’d personally prefer to use a service you don’t have to have an account for and you can use a VPN to hide your IP if you wish. Therefore, it’s not possible for them to know who you are and sell your data. Alternatively, run an LLM on your device (lots of good options whether mobile or desktop).
Just my thoughts from trying a few services out, obvs do what’s best for you :)
Oh, there’s also https://lmarena.ai if you want to use some of the SOTA models without an account - just use the ‘Direct Chat’ tab. Some are rate-limited, but I’ve always found something that works.

When I first came to Nostr, I was very confused with the terms. Shitcoin sounds like some kind of currency, but they are not currencies. They are tokens or securities (financial instruments). I think the only currency in the strict sense is Bitcoin.
