Never lost a fight that wasn't in a ring and I don't aim to tonight. Best of luck to you to bro. I hope you get laid and don't post about it on the fediverse or I will rise from the grave and raise the body count.

Regardless of which you choose I am going to go out tonight and bully this shit out of randos at the bar until they pull a gun on me or they get worked up enough to throw a punch and I can take out my anger on some random.

Just know that tonight there will be blood and it will be on your hands. You got me going sicko mode over here, some real Jeff Cliff hours ☠️

Doc you have no idea how much I want to cave in your skull every time you spend half the night talking about your relationship.

ery momet of life

day is alway dark

no rember happy days

Nah, moe was extremely noticeable when it happened. So much so that when it became a recognized thing there were tons of discussions about what the word meant and what it defined in both the Japanese internet and the rest of the world.

There was always fan service in Japanese media. However after the bubble burst fan service kind of stuff became the only economically viable way to support the continued existence of the media outside of fringe cases with genuinely talented authors and artists.

I feel ya. I used to read a lot of manga and watch a lot of anime back in the day where there was a lot more diversity of material. Unfortunately the collapse of the industry in the wake of the Japanese bubble bursting gave them a lot less leeway for artistic creativity. What survived created the moe boom of the 00s, and that fed into what we now see. Basically pedophiles were willing to pay to read/watch what tickled their perversion, and so that overtook the industry.

It would be like if US media collapsed, but furries were still willing to pay for what got them off. In a decade you would see most US media catering to them.

There is still good stuff out there, you just need to either wade through the shit yourself, or get guided by someone that bit the bullet and did it for you.

Made in Abyss is visually beautiful, but like watching it for ten minutes makes it really obvious what the author's proclivities are. The guy that suggested it was obviously fucking with you.

effects and affects are two separate words.

Also Jean is a pigfrog that doesn't understand that in English using affect as a verb simply means to effect something. Because English is retarded thanks to the french.

Non Non Biyori

There is absolutely zero sexualization of any character in the series whatsoever. It is all about growing up in an extremely rural area and children learning to find the fun they can have without most modern conviences and the passing of the seasons as the characters grow and mature into young adults. There is one male that is visible in the series, the older brother of two of the main characters, and he is seen as some kind of oddity because of how proficient he is in everything he does.

I absolutely love Non Non Biyori. The manga is filled with these insanely beautiful and extremely highly detailed landscapes of the rural Japanese countryside. The most emotionally taxing part of the story is when the youngest girl makes friends with another girl her age who spends the summer living with her grandparents deep in the country and has to leave when the school year rolls around again. It is very slow, very peaceful, and very heartwarming.

For what purpose? You may as well just delete your home timeline at that point or just make it a clone of TWKT. I have like ~50 people I follow and it is a struggle to keep up with it. I honestly consider removing all my NCD friends so that I can fit more people from other instances into my home timeline and just use the NCD timeline to follow my local friends.

Watching the I Hate Everything review of Lightfall and just going "yep" while he shits on it for over an hour. What are you up to Matty?
