I was around during the fork wars, and I did my part. My node followed the original chain, and I sold all my BCH and #Bitcoin gold for #BTC. This might not sound like much now, but selling the forks was taking a real risk. I had to rely on my understanding to know which side would win. It wasn't obvious like it is today. Those of you who are new to the space, your time will come. Keep up with the current BIPs, run a node, and contribute to the revolution in a positive way. We need you.

How do you keep track of your zaps? I use Alby, and there is no way that I can see to view incoming sats. Only outgoing.
I'm interested in what investments will look like in a #Bitcoin world. I foresee a time when investments are way more limited, focused, and intelligently deployed. No more gambling with 401ks; saving for retirement will just be hodling BTC. Investments will be more researched and understood by investors. The risk will have to be less than it is now because we will always be able to get a good return on our BTC savings. Imagine the wealth that will be created if capital were much more intelligently invested.
It's so sad when you run into a shitcoiner IRL. They usually are trying to find the next #Bitcoin to get rich quick like Bitcoiners of the past. What they don't realize is that the potential to get rich on Bitcoin quickly still exists. All it takes is going all in and waiting.
I used to like to gamble. I gambled on #Bitcoin. But then I learned about #BTC & how it's going to be used as a revolution to emancipate the human race from the central banks. Then I became a saver. I save all my excess income in Bitcoin. I'm not gambling anymore because I know know the absolute value proposition of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is inevitable. Once you understand this fact, life become so much more free.
I love zapping people. This is my first foray into the lightning network and I love how easy it is. It makes me even more bullish than I already was. And I've been predicting 25 million BTC for years now.
Do you guys receive notifications of zaps sent to you? I just got an email from Alby that someone sent me 1000 sats. But I got no notification of this on iris.to or damus.
I'm trying to figure out how to zap people. Just sent some sats from Stike to my Muun Wallet. But how do I link my wallet to Nostr?
