I understand that it's important for new users to get some initial content, but I am not a fan of every client just offering the same 10-50 nost followed nostr-celebrities to start.

Nostr is much more diverse and IMHO the onboarding process should offer profiles based on interests / topics. Maybe even a way to follow specific hashtags to find people to follow.

I have used it on mine and it looks like the links are supported by some other clients (Damus, Snort) already.

yes this is the first thing for me, not really understanding, still learning through youtube etc. because I am not a person who is familiar with technology or programming, so it is very slow for me to be to understand.

That's ok, just ask around people are helpful here. You can use hashtags like #plebchain #bitcoin #nostr to find people who can give you assistance.
