Still wondering, why my profile https://iris.to/marcokalz does neither show my posts nor my information. Any hints?
Welcome π€
I think I can see everything. Sometimes clients are not connected to all Relay Servers and content can be missing. Should sort itself out.
Slow and steady!

great if true, but the stats don't support that: https://stats.nostr.band/#daily_active_users
Yesterday I brought up a question to nostr:npub1ewe0qgak4gykym236t6w4x06jyuw4q8v040lmn5lamude434yqcsz7uqlw about doing a #zap #stream of her #cooking / #foodstr .
She said she would think about it, but
β¦I just want to know how many people would want to see this too?
COMMENT BELOW βMEβ
IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THIS PRO CHEF UP IN THE KITCHEN TOO!
Iβd watch too if the timezone permits
That's exactly what was playing in my head.
For events or people that participate in Zap manipulation or reaction manipulation, I do get those events and people being manipulated themselves from being displayed in Trending or Top Zaps.
I am surprised though by some of these additions. Fronl example: Why nostr:npub1ezw0xm0w52rd4yfdg9zlw9qvwdy46alzelklkefptrd203m37tuq4djmeg ? Dude is a nice person and Zaps more than most. I'm attending Riga in part because of him.
Are nostr:npub12z8jsett3k6rv9fa2guau5p540qr2xuvjzkr8e432mglafjt99sqkw9zmx and nostr:npub12jedfuhk2wfr7syr38t2f55652khuyz9f88r63ftm0j2vudxq9sqq7677r listed because they post nudes? So, are these feeds 18+ only then SFW type of content? They may post nudes, but I see Onyx post a lot of beautiful photos too. I would hate to see that content ignored. I'd this is the case, maybe we can ask adult accounts to use NSFW NIP? After several violations then add them to the list? That sounds like a good compromise to me.
On slidestr.net I use hashtags and content warning NIP to identify adult content - I still had to mark some profiles (npubs) as NSFW because that was not reliable enough, when neither is available.
The content warning NIP could be a solution but it has does have some issues....
- As a content creator wants to be visible to users for higher engagement and not be hidden behind a second click.
- It is very subjective what is acceptable and what should hidden behind a content warning.
Everyone is hating on #primal right now because of them (shadow) banning some accounts and notes.
Yes, their choices might have been intransparent and over the top but I do understand that they needed to remove some content (mostly spam?) to improve the user experience for the majority of users.
I see this a is a necessary step and discussion to improve the user based filtering capabilities of #nostr clients in general.
As a user I am totally fine with spam being removed by default as long as I am able the disable the filtering and see everything if I want.
As someone who also runs a nostr client web application (slidestr.net) I can understand there is some content that you don't want to be shown on your domain, either for legal reasons or because it completely messes up the user experience.
Keep calm and buidl nostr π
