Everyone will miss the old HR Karens.

Would love to query my RSS feed one day, including the podcasts.
I went to see Oliver Anthony here in Round Rock TX with my wife… Wonderful message and a voice like a bell. amazing performance, I’m so glad I went.

We stopped by there too; what a great venue there actually; will be back in the future.
He didn't disappoint at all, and as you say, voice like a bell, and super humbly filling the folk hero role that people demand.
Speaking of the voices like a bell. When his buddy joined for the Simple Man cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd, that was when you could hear all the remaining jaws dropping in unison. And the the lyrics ... 🤌🔥

Forget your lust for the rich man's gold
All that you need is in your soul
And you can do this, oh, baby, if you try
All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied

Just don't. No one does.
Look what address is in my profile! #silentpayment for #bitcoin! Yes it works in nostr:npub1j9qyxka5lck4tw50v7qfrs6gdwczz5ydt7ugqy6nhuva9p6dpy5q8rs2yg

What might be the trust and privacy tradeoffs of these silent payments in comparison with paynyms?
unleashed.chat tells me it's "using the coinjoin tech" for receiving, but idk, sounds maybe like too much simplification or hallucinating.
I was thinking about what nostr:nprofile1qyd8wumn8ghj7urewfsk66ty9enxjct5dfskvtnrdakj7qg3waehxw309ucngvpwvcmh5tnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshsqg86np9a0kajstc8u9h846rmy6320wdepdeydfz8w8cv7kh9sqv02gm89snp said about having a personal and a development account, and I think I want that, too.
Different identities optimized for different use cases makes a lot of sense. For the very least, it's the easiest way to personalize and control your feed and experience for now.
Just the switching between the npubs could have a smoother UX in the clients.
Only the shitcoiners might be better in this.

Yes, I guess that's the main message. I'm kinda nerding out a lot on her decomposition of the economic and cultural downfall. the interactions between the two are hard to notice in steady times, but when things get volatile, you suddenly realize the impact the sick money has on the society.
Lol, somewhat, yea.
But the crucial difference, AFAIK, Strike let's you send to anyone. This UMA sounds more like a KYC sponge; allows you to receive from anyone, but send only to their addresses.
Not really. I didn't read anything about this Coinbase deal.
I think most people just want to hate on Coinbase.
But, there might be more rightful reasons too. I recall Lightspark showing off with this KYC-ed lnurl (UMA) - a proprietary, compliance friendly lightning solution for corporations...
I'd assume Coinbase will be using that tech as well; and I wonder about the interoperability with the actual lightning...
See here:
"Secure and Compliant
Through UMA, Lightspark's solution supports a full range of compliance messaging for anti-money laundering, sanctions reviews, and travel rule purposes."

Haven't heard seen or heard of him for a while; probably on a psyopping sabbatical. I just thought of him as a perfect example.
The nuance is necessary. Blanket statements don't do anyone's justice.
You can still think that men tend to do better with running businesses and women with running household, but that itself doesn't imply anything about A being more valuable than B. Or that A can do better in B's role or vice versa.
Given that to me, it's a rather obvious statement (same as the "tend to" does not mean absolutes), then it's rather derogatory to women when people get automatically mad about anyone saying that women tend to be better with households.
- it has stronf fiat focused mindset; "making money is the most important thing" - spoiler, it absolutely isn't.
