The main reason for NATO's existence (at least in my side of the worls -- Eastern Europe) is to keep Russia's expansionist tendencies in check. Of course NATO rejected Russia's request!
I've heard this argument in Tucker Carlson's interview by Lex Friedman: _"Russia requested NATO membership, therefore NATO is no longer needed"_, and was struck by sheer stupidity of its consequences.

Sweet!
TLDR: a revolution is not a solution, but a failure mode

I honestly don't understand why a revolution is proposed as a fix for the corruption of sociopathic ruling class. Won't the sociopaths also corrupt the revolution to reorganize society in a manner that's even more convenient for them? The communist revolution followed the same path to produce people like Stalin.
Shouldn't we judge charities on a case-by-case basis, according to their actions? :)
It seems to me that nostr will have to solve the same kind of problem: who is paying for relays, or how should that be done?
In my opinion the best way is to keeo rss/atom. Youtube majes it difficult to extract the rss feed. I assume that's because they want you to stay logged in, and present in their platform. That's a dark pattern, as far as I'm concerned.
"Error parsing error message" :) It's probably because I don't have a wallet.
