Interested in keeping focus vs. discovering new people and things.

Catan is def one of the best board games, my favorite being Terra Mystica at the moment. nostr:note19q2hjlsqhc3x0744x73f5az0wexua5mnq5an4mqggcu3lw4k02cqgpxjje

Commiserations! Same here until yesterday.

After weeks fighting with one charting lib I switched to another and am finally making some progress. Sunken cost fallacy.

For what it is worth, I am always searching for scifi anime a la GITS, Cowboy Bebop, Akira, Summer Wars, Denno Coil, etc..

(Sadly) find most results for your keywords (gaming, anime, ios) on mastodon.

Not sure what you mean with bookmarks and network maps, but searches are surely recorded, at least in anonymized form, at a minimum to improve service.

We can say (re-)tweet now.

Sending to all relays in a list defined by the service (so not necessarily the events you are usually publishing to) would be my guess. Did not try it yet.

If you just connect I can see your IP, origin and user-agent in the logs:

Jul 23 21:33:35 nostr-rs-relay[19526]: Jul 23 21:33:35.452 INFO nostr_rs_relay::server: new client connection (cid: 5d511342, ip: "")

Jul 23 21:33:35 nostr-rs-relay[19526]: Jul 23 21:33:35.452 INFO nostr_rs_relay::server: cid: 5d511342, origin: "https://iris.to", user-agent: "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/114.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"

If you post or try to post evens I will also get your npub.

So if you want to never establish a connection between your IP and your npub, you have to use Tor or VPN every time you send an event.

BTW this is just out of the box in the logs and the database. Bad relay can probably try to prod your device even further.

Multiple pubkeys might be connected to each other via cookies.

Also some more information on browser fingerprinting https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Glossary/Fingerprinting, and there is mobile device fingerprinting, too.

A plus: show me podcasts (incl. guests) that are fresh/not famous yet.

He knows his stuff though. One would have to read into all kinds of topics. I need more time.

Would actually prefer to not being shown, e.g. on Damus. Makes stuff feel facebookish.

Do you use hashtags (grownostr or introductions) to find them? Or some global feed and or specific relays? I do not see so many new faces yet.

I wonder how much of that is mastodon cross posting. I do not see such a big change in my stats. It seems some relays were overwhelmed though.
