That's incredible! Thank you!
I have. Fold said they've heard about the issue from other people. PayPal is... a disaster.
I've been having the same issue. PayPal ended up using an old bank account I had linked instead of my Fold Card to process the payment. I wasn't aware they switched for payment and that old account was overdrawn.
Science!

Three truths about the money in your bank account:
1) it isn't money
2) it isn't there

Anyone remember what a pain in the ass the internet was to use early on? It was tedious, slow, and unreliable.
It made that weird sound: Pshhhkkkkkkrrrrkakingkakingkakingtshchchchchchchchcch*ding*ding*ding*
Any time someone called the house, you'd get kicked offline. You'd have to reload whatever website you were trying to see. Not user friendly, at all.
Early cell phones were a huge pain. You'd have to walk around, looking for signal. You'd have to carry at least 1 backup battery, if not several.
#Bitcoin adoption has done quirks, but they're nothing like early internet or cell phones.
The ship is going down. How many people are you helping get in a lifeboat?

Any monetary system that relies on human judgement and decisions, that are constantly changing with different people being involved, situations, and outside influences will always be doomed to fail.
As Bitcoiners, we can't control or influence how fast the fiat ponzi collapses. That's the responsibility of the people running the ponzi.
We can, however, control our efforts in increasing education, spreading the word, talking about the importance of self custody, and doing whatever we can to orange pill as many people as possible.
We don't control how fast the ship goes down. We do control how many people we try to help get in the lifeboats.
Imagine the emotions of your bonds effectively turning into toilet paper as inflation rips your face off.
Don't use paper money to buy paper #bitcoin. Take custody and ensure your bitcoin is a bearer asset.
Eth will eventually become so big (data wise), it'll collapse upon itself like a dying star that never gave off useful light.
In one way, we should be grateful for central banks. They kicked the can down the road long enough for bitcoin to grow, evolve, get a layer 2 for processing smaller payments, and increased security wallet options.
Hopefully the can will be kicked a little longer for these things to become more robust but, they've given us some runway.

You'd save money by just using a $1 bill.

Buying #bitcoin at any price is a gift. You're exchanging fake money for real money. One day, no one will be foolish enough to sell real money for fake money.
