Madison Sheahan, Louisiana's Secretary of the Department of Wildlife & Fisheries and former campaign aide for Secretary Noem, is expected to be named Acting Director of ICE.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has now confirmed yesterday’s Airstrike in Northwestern Syria, which resulted in the Elimination of Wasim Tahsin Bayraqdar, a Senior Leader in the Al-Qaeda Affiliate, Hurras al-Din (HaD). CENTCOM does not state what Munition was used to conduct the Strike, however Evidence shows that it was carried out using an R-9X “Flying Ginsu” Hellfire Missile, likely fired from an MQ-9 “Reaper” Drone.

Senior U.S. Officials, including National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, are reporting that the United States and Ukraine are on the verge of signing an “Improved” Mineral Deal and Partnership. According to the New York Times, who has read the Document, the Deal calls for Ukraine to relinquish Half of its Revenues from Natural Resources, including Minerals, Gas and Oil, as well as Earnings from Ports and other Infrastructure, without any kind of U.S. Defense or Security Guarantees. The Revenue from Ukraine’s Natural Resources will be directed to a Fund in which the U.S. holds 100% Financial Interest, and that Ukraine should contribute to until it reaches $500 Billion; while stating that for any additional Military Assistance provided by the United States, Ukraine will be required to contribute to the Fund a sum equal to twice the amount provided to Ukraine. As stated previously, the Deal does not contain any Security or Defensive Guarantees by the United States to Ukraine, but does state that the U.S. intends to provide a “Long-Term Financial Commitment to help Ukraine develop Economically.”

Resolution to be made on Monday, the 3-Year Anniversary of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine, condemning the Russian Invasion and War; instead replacing it with a toned-down U.S. Statement which “shocked” Kyiv, containing Language perceived as Pro-Russian, while European Leaders saw it as supporting appeasement towards Russia. The request was totally denied by Ukrainian President Zelensky, who has directed to Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue with the Original Resolution.

Trump dismissed four-star General C.Q. Brown Jr. from his position as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, replacing him with retired three-star Lieutenant General John D. Caine. The decision caught many at the Pentagon by surprise, as they did not expect Brown Jr.’s removal—let alone his replacement by a retired general. According to The New York Times, General Caine is seen as more aligned with Trump, which may explain the unexpected change.
