European and Ukrainian officials met today in London for low-level talks regarding the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. However, today’s high-level negotiations between foreign ministers has been canceled, after both U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff abruptly withdrew yesterday from the planned talks in London. Their withdrawal reportedly comes amid anger in Washington over Ukraine’s reluctance to agree to several controversial concessions to potentially end the war, including international recognition of Crimea as a territory of Russia and acknowledging Russia’s majority control over several other regions of Southeastern Ukraine.

The Jordanian Interior Ministry has announced today a immediate ban on the activities of and the forced dissolution of the Muslim Brotherhood, alongside the closure of all its offices and the seizure of its assets across Jordan.

This move comes after Jordan’s General Intelligence Department (GID), and the Public Security Directorate (PSD) foiled a plot last week by a cell of the Muslim Brotherhood, planning to launch drone rocket attacks across the Kingdom of Jordan. 16 suspects were arrested, all linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Trump’s “final offer” for peace requires Ukraine to recognize Russian occupation

Axios revealed what exactly the U.S. is offering Ukraine and Russia in its peace plan.

What Russia gets:

— U.S. legal recognition of Russian control over Crimea

— De facto recognition of Russia’s occupation of most of Luhansk and parts of Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia

— A promise that Ukraine won’t join NATO (but could join the EU)

— Lifting of sanctions imposed since 2014

— Expanded U.S.–Russia economic cooperation, especially in energy and industry

What Ukraine gets:

— “Security guarantees” from a group of European and possibly other friendly nations — without U.S. participation. No details on the peacekeeping format

— Return of a small part of occupied Kharkiv region

— Free navigation along the Dnipro River near the frontline in the south

— Compensation and rebuilding aid — with no clear funding source

Other details:

— Zaporizhzhia NPP will be formally Ukrainian, but operated by the U.S. Power to be shared between Ukraine and Russia

— A U.S.–Ukraine minerals deal is mentioned, expected to be signed Thursday, according to Trump.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump stated earlier today during a press conference in the Oval Office, that he will not play “hardball” with China, and that the current 145% tariff on goods imported from China will be “significantly reduced” once he makes a deal with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent reportedly said during a closed-door private event tonight in Washington, hosted by JPMorgan Chase, that the ongoing trade war between China and the United States is “unsustainable” for both sides, and that he expects de-escalation very soon. However, Bessent cautioned that negotiations have not yet begun and that they are likely to be a “slog” when it comes to China. This comes after U.S. President Trump said earlier today that the current 145% tariff on goods imported from China will be “significantly reduced” following negotiations between himself and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Peskov commented on the FT article:

"Many fakes are published these days, and respected media publish them, as well, so you should only listen to sources," he said.

In response to criticism from Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele proposed a swap: 252 Venezuelans deported by the U.S. for being involved in violent gangs and residing illegally would be sent back to Venezuela in exchange for 252 political prisoners held by the Chavista regime.

Maduro rejected the proposal and accused Bukele of human rights violations.

Satellite image shows Russia’s 51st Arsenal before today’s massive explosion

Located northeast of Moscow, the 51st Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) is one of the largest and most critical storage sites in Russia’s military infrastructure.

According to intelligence sources, the facility housed large stockpiles of artillery shells, MLRS systems, components of air defense systems (like the S-300), and tactical missiles. Judging by the magnitude of the explosion, it’s believed that a significant portion of this arsenal was destroyed.

The Russian government has denied any Ukrainian involvement, attributing the blast to “violations of safety protocols.”

Russia's 51st GRAU arsenal just suffered another major secondary detonation as the munitions storage facility continues to cook off.

The munitions dump, one of Russia's largest, is now reportedly ejecting explosives into the surrounding area.

Before any strike fighter takes off from an aircraft carrier, it's the EA-18G Growler that launches first. Instead of heavy bomb loads, the Growler carries advanced systems designed to jam enemy sensors, clearing the way for strike fighters to advance with a minimum level of safety. Due to the nature of its mission, the Growler is the first to take off and the last to land.

According to NBC News, only minutes before U.S. Navy F/A-18 “Super Hornets” took off from the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) to begin strikes against the Iranian-backed Houthis in Western Yemen last month; the Commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), General Michael E. Kurilla used a secure government system to send detailed information about the upcoming operation to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth in Washington. Some of the details sent by Kurilla to Hegseth, consisted of classified information about when U.S. fighters would take off and when they would hit their targets in Yemen, details which Hegseth used his personal phone to less than 10 minutes later post in two group-chats over Signal. One labeled “Houthi PC Small Group” containing Trump Cabinet-level officials and their designees, as well as the Editor-in-Chief of The Atlantic; while the other composed of Hegseth’s wife, brother and attorney and some of his aides, included recently fired senior Pentagon staffers Dan Caldwell and Darin Selnick.

Powerful explosions rocked the 51st GRAU arsenal of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Vladimir region — 100,000 tons of ammunition went up in the air.

Among the destroyed items were glide bombs, artillery shells, rockets for multiple launch rocket systems, and components for air defense systems.

It was one of the largest depots in Russia.
