HMRC is already able to seize funds from bank accounts when individuals fail to pay tax under “direct recovery of debts” powers, but now they want to extend it to payment services like Paypal.

Custotial wallets and exchanges like Wallet of Satoshi & Coinbase, Binance, etc could also be subject to these rules.

Make sure you’re not storing bitcoin on these services and only use non custodial wallets like Phoenix, Sparrow, Samurai Bluewallet to name a few. And no-KYC and non custodial exchanges like RoboSats & HodlHodl
