We would need to wait few more years before it's possible to say. There's still very high inflation that's reflects to prizes around the country and that makes many people desperate. Some people are even stacking washing machines/tools to protect themselves from monetary debasement, it's not cool.
Milei seems to want especially answer to that problem but of course, changes in these things doesn't happen in month but years.

Your new LN implementation looks very slick! I know it's still beta and will probably be developed much further in the future. However I have some questions/improvement proposals related to it.
- Is it possible to stack directly to LN?
- Does it open new channel every time I swap funds or does it have Phoenix-like splicing to extend the capacity of current channel?
- Is there a way to see the information about the opened channel and it's capacity?
- Is there documentation about how the LN works in Relai? The FAQ in your site was more generally about the LN itself, even though I expected/hoped it to be more specificly about how LN works in Relai.
Anywayz, gongrats! You've done awesome job so far!

Russian oil refinery in Nizhny Novgorod earlier today, 800km from Ukraine.
Far more effective to help Ukraine blow up Russia's economy with drones and agents that worry about Bitcoin sanctions.
...and as for anyone killed at that facility: they were war criminals, directly helping Russia fund its invasion. Fuck them.

Todays Relai wallet update wasn't very successful since it freezes right from the start.
Also my Amethyst crashes every time I try to tag Relai. What's going on here? ๐

No if you take inflation to account, it's possibly somewhere around 87k for USD ๐
Thanks for the input. I agree that money one wants to save at least 4 years, it's best to use #bitcoin. However I don't see bitcoin as an investment.
In my opinion investing is more like gambling. You bet on something you can expect profits from by putting money in and taking the risk. Of course it's usually less risky than keeping fiat since fiat only goes down.
I see bitcoin as an investment technology where one don't need to invest or gamble with money to keep it.
Monopoly money is better. The price of authentic vintage monopoly money has actually increased considerably against dollar.
Exactly. Only way to regulate #Bitcoin is to run a node!
You mean surveillance sosialism? The one where the expenses of surveillance is sosialised but rewards go only to the few.

A friend of mine started to explore #Bitcoin recently. Now their whole family is wanting me to come and explain Bitcoin to them, and tomorrow is the day. They have quite a lot of savings in different assets and want to know if it's wise to convert them to bitcoin.
I though I will start from the beginning and what is the problem with money today, and only after we can agree with the problems then I start to explain what Bitcoin is for me and how it can possibly fix those problems.
Why these kind of thing happen mostly in times of ATH? ๐
I don't think so, it's just the first step. In my opinion #Bitcoin is competing with world reserve currency #USD, and the real flippening would be when Bitcoin flips dollar ๐
Yes, that's what I was taught as well, and it may have even been somewhat true before all the corruption that haunts us today, save of course for theft of land, and labor and genocide.
You write as if we have an actually free market, and a true and transparent democratic process to bolster our entrepreneurial spirits, but we have neither, and the reality of the socialism you equate to less freedom, is only ever really afforded to the very affluent, and their multi-national banks and corporations.
We could likely learn something from China about poverty reduction and diplomacy, albeit I wont venture to write of the wars helping to sustain our dwindling economic prowess.

China got many people out of poverty just by creating more reliable energy that boosted productivity. But they're also enslaving millions of people to work for them for free.
